some Carlton bloke just dropped a Richmond bloke off the ball, and going by the Baker precedent, should get about 15 weeks

Hartnett - one less scummer to worry about next week.

Any danger in a tackle being laid in this game?

I'm 0 from 1 with my footy tipping & I am wrapped. I normally don't pick Carlscum to win but thought that they couldn't lose against the Tiggers. :D :D

Carltank players obviously have not adjusted to the new game plan. Too many of their players are reverting to last years strategy Last years game plan to lose every match will be hard for them to break.

I was there... I kind of have a soft spot for Richmond. It must be a pity thing, but it was nice to see them win. And Carlton have been so arrogant about getting Judd. He was alright, but kind of quiet. I think I was expecting more. And Fevola is such a sook!

its sad but true.

carlton should have won 8 or 9 games last year but tanked it.

and maybe 2 games they were unlucky in.

they have a formidable midfield, a rank tosser who can kick 8 or 9 goals in a game, and some talent in their defence.

IMO in 07 if carlton had have won some close games they would have pushed harder for a finals berth, but they basically tanked the back half of the season in such a ridiculously obvious effort it was more than embarrassing.

with a new season, and their talent available, carlton will win by 40 points.

Richmond are woeful.

if carlton lose, then they are after 08 draft picks again ><
Geez Carlton look crap. Maybe they didn't tank it last yr. No backline, no ruckman, no gameplan

Another opportunity awaits!

This might sound crazy but I think King would have a crack, he's not the biggest bloke but he has a lot of grunt, an Fev is all braun no brain, he would run with his tail between his legs at the first sign of trouble...
Sorry about quoting myself, but how good was he tonight? Not so sure about him being the energizer bunny, i prefer to think of Harvey as him, I would say King is more of a terrier constantly gnawing away at the ankles of his opposition, don't think he has the plish to be in our 22 but I would love it if our players showed the same level of passion that bloke does, one of the smallest players in the league and he was out there flying the flag, great to see :D :D :D

Carlton as a club haven't adjusted to the New Millenium. That club's going nowhere whilst it maintains a mindset that it can buy premierships!
