i told one of my daughters one year that i'd be giving her wedding a miss if it clashed with a saints game....she was lucky.......

Yes Stinger, I think that's a healthy attitude. I'm usually a good girl and very compliant but if the saints are playing, social etiquette kind of goes out the window

I know the feeling - my daughter planned her engagement party for a Saturday night home game - it had to be moved to the following Saturday when we played Sydney in Sydney, proviso that the TV could be on.

And then my brother missed cos he was already booked in to be in Sydney for the game.

Was a tough choice until I picked up todays paper, I'm now officially sick of professional cricket

...more name calling, more sooking, more dobbing, more veiled 'go home' threats.&.more money for these over priced prima donnas. Go home India, I'm sick of your righteous indignation especially after your tough talking and your "if we don't get our way, we'll boycott and go home", I'll officially escort you to the airport, see ya!

As for the Australians, they are starting to get on the nose in more ways than one. I hope I do not hear one more whinge about the tight schedule, being away from home, burn out...all the time not wanting to be rotated whilst having their hand out for more cash, more personal sponsors (more TV ads) and playing county or 20/20 as long as the price is right!!!

Ticket purchased for the Dome on Friday night, no choice really!
