You guys must surely be joking when debating if Baker is in the best 22. He's easily in our top 5 most important players.

Birss and Leigh Fisher aren't as good as Bakes' little toe.

He may have soft tissue injury. It has nothing whatsoever to do with his reco.

Not sure what it is but is a soft tissue injury. Anyone got photos from training lately to see if he has anything on his legs.

Which means that he will be in better form and hence in the team.

I grouped the three together as they can play similar type roles....ie defensive mids...though Baker and L Fisher can also play full time down back.

Baker is out suspended at the seasons start and when he is eligible to play again it would I would imagine one of these two that he will have to replace.

Hence the grouping.

Why? So Goodes can beat him pointless again?

Blake's had one good game where he beat Goodes four years ago (in the wet) but everytime after that he has been no better an option than anyone else.

Blake's faults do not go away when he plays the swans. He is still a, comparatively, poor user of the ball and does not hurt the opposition when he gets it.

If this man is in our best 22, then we are destined for another disappointing season.
