back then we were not living in melbourne, so i didnt go to that game, and at 3qtr time i had to go to bed because it looked pretty obvious like we will lose!
woke up the next day to see Hall kicked the goal after the siren to win the game! :D and i wasnt awake for it!

That is still the biggest roar I have heard at the Dome. I think it scared the ball through !!
Thanks for that one Eastern – but you did cause some concern to the regulars at the front bar of the Hyde Park Hotel in Perth. A WA fan that you know grabbed the Peanut in his arms and swung him around the room with glee …
Would that be the same WA fan who almost got us locked up in the dis-used Freemantle Jail once?

There are a few games I've won for the saints. Like the one where Schwarze kicked the winning goal against brisbane in 2004. Lots of people credit him for the win, but no-one has ever given me credit for slipping laxatives into the powerade that the Brisbane bench was using.

I remember riding home Stewie Loewe's shot for goal against Fitzroy from the Huggins flank.

And despite being a rampant atheist I all but prayed for Plugger to kick his tenth on that most famous day at Moorabbin to sink those scum of the earth Blues.

Yep , I was there, what a moment. I have yearned for a similar moment since, hasnt happened yet. Scwarze's goal was great...

BUT, the pass from Heath Black to vossy in the centre fell a bit short. Voss picked it up off his toes superbly without missing a beat and spotted up Schwarze out on the wing.

Our close win against the Lions in 03.

If it wasn't for me changing my position on the couch to bring us luck at a crucial moment of the game we would not have won which would've then created a chain reaction of unfortunate events.

Our streak in 2004 would've never eventuated, Rooey would be back in Brisbane and Dal would now be plying his trade at Windy Hill.

Therefore, I make myself single-handedly responsible for the current group of superstars you all pay to see every week.

No worries.
