Club Legend John Nicols used to own a TV/Electrical showroom in the 70s - something like ? Bruce Warehouse.
Anyway he got robbed, but that was OK because he was insured.
But lo and behold they found the tellies in a warehouse owned by his brother.
And of course there is that other rumour that the club got Big Nick off a really serious charge back in his early days in the late 50s when Big Prick had been trying to earn some "quick money".

Caaaarltoon pulled some strings & got him out to play.
I'm sure he was sent to the prison farm up in Gippslland. One of my uncles lived near there & every time we went up there to see him, he would say that this was where John Nichols was sent.
