I think we will miss Jones. He was good until injured.
I wasn't overly impressed with Higgins either, blows so many opportunities that should be bread and butter for a small forward. The class difference between he and Butler in that position showed greatly IMO.
It's all moot anyway, I think Carlton are a long way ahead of us on current form, I actually don't see us getting another win this year as things are unfortunately.

Agree with the Dud.
St K isn't a normal club.
Any club that has a win like we did, will keep playing that way.
They find their mojo and sustain it.
With our guys, you don't know which version will turn up

I meant overall comparison, I would keep Higgins over Gresham.

Re: Saints v blues team changes
Team named with King, Hayes and Membrey on extended bench, the latter two very under done would have preferred Heath or Campbell to Hayes at the moment and Members has shown nothing at Sandy
Re: Saints v blues team changes
Looking at Hayes and Membrey last week, can't see them lasting a full senior game, maybe one will sub.

I don't see Max or Hayes, or Membrey coming in.
Tony74 says Owens was 'touch n go' before Hawks game.
And was on limited minutes until last quarter.
If he's still not right, maybe one of the other marking fwds comes in?

If Owens doesn't come up, as you say (quoting tony74 as well), then I think they should go with Membrey.WellardSaint wrote: ↑Thu 03 Aug 2023 9:17pm I would be surprised if the bench wasn't

If King is cleared medically I think Roos wants to play him. Personally, I hope they hold King back for one more week.

You'd think King is straight in but he's named on the extended bench while Hill is straight in. King mustn't be ready yet. Membrey and Hayes are no where near it.
As ex-president Peter Summers said:

Re: Saints v blues team changes
Great to see Sharman and Caminiti selected as playing this week against Carlton despite all the following medium to tall forwards (who have played that position this year) available-
Phillipou, Cordy, Owens,( all selected) and arguably King, Membrey, Holmes( returning from injury)
