Re: Tim Membrey
Membrey was clearly robbed of another goal kicking chance when a boundary maggot thought he had to get his ugly head on the tellie.

Re: Tim Membrey
Poor decision
Because they were unsure- it should’ve been reviewed
Could have cost us a goal!

Re: Tim Membrey
Owens does much of the pounding from what I can see. He is a big, strong, explosive follower. But of course there are no guarantees when it comes to injuries.

Re: Tim Membrey
Owens is probably tougher and less likely to get injured in the ruck than Marshall
He is hard as a goats forehead!!!
Preferably we would go with Campbell - as a bear in the square and back up ruckman
But I think with an emphasis on team defence- the coach’s don’t want that option

Re: Tim Membrey
As much as I loved what Caminiti offered , no doubt we got more from Membrey first up.
As for Cordy , I think Ross likes him because he provides insurance in case Marshall, a KPF or KPD go down. Probably only gets displaced when King is good to go.

Has the body
Keeps structure
Is a target
Does his role
Has mongrel
Now… Provides insurance
Boy the list of attributes just keeps growing. Hopefully one of them soon will actually relate to an actual thing Cordy does on the field before getting subbed off
If not… then no doubt next week he will inspire his team mates and make them walk taller

Re: Tim Membrey
He’s ordinary
Winning masks a lot of things
He has been subbed in three games
He’s done FA in 5 games

Re: Tim Membrey
TM. His kicking for goal was awful. Lifted Carltons spirits. Great opportunities hard won and he choked. Strike one, nervous comeback perhaps. Knows he in no longer a certainty. Fortunate McKay was equally wasteful.
Z man - If the analogy of a bullfight can be used. He is the Picador, goads and buffets, draws blood, hurts, worries the opposition, cannot be ignored, then our matadors deliver the coup de grace. Does not get the accolades but really f**** up the bull.

Re: Tim Membrey
I have both Caminiti and Membrey in even when King returns. Would give us two power forwards plus a very good third banana.
Would mean Owens goes to midfield, but I reckon he is ready.
One thing for sure though, we don't want to go back to aiming every foray forward at Max King with four guys hanging off him. Need to share the goals around as we have been doing.
Will be interesting.
