Longer 100% as well with his one disposal in a half of footy.

And Sinclair was very good again.whiskers3614 wrote:Every cloud has a silver lining..

Templeton is good when he gets the ball but doesn't get it enough.
Hickey looks more damaging than Longer.
Paddy seems to get to the fall of the ball, and with a bit more size will hopefully be able to grab some of those marks.
I'm not sure if Fisher will go on, he seems to be getting slower and slower.
And I look forward to the day that Geary is forced out by a younger player who can hit a target.

Trying to look for positives but a good stat this one!!Con Gorozidis wrote:Inside 50s: 52-52
It means we to are forcing turnovers and giving ourselves a chance to score
Ok we struggled when we got it forward but our forwardline was very inexperienced and we also lost some tackle pressure there with Lonie out
The fact that we are getting the ball in there is great - in time our forwardline will click once our youngsters get a few more games under their belt
Probably always going to lose this one anyway given our atrocious record in Adelaide and that we some big outs so not to worried but i do like them inside 50 stats
The Devil makes work for idle hands!!!

Melbourne. Didn't get a priority pick, they got a priority picked dressed up as Frawley free agent compensation.kalsaint wrote:I wouldn't be surprised if Brisbane get a priority pick. Melbourne did last year. Why? Saints hadn't had any opportunity and were bottom so where was the consistency. I didn't support the priority pick for any of th 3 sides and still don't but again, I think Brisbane will be successful.8856brother wrote:We've been great all year. Thses days will happen with such a young team. Just enforces we still need to bring in talent, and pick 4 will be better than pick 6. Would be disapointing to lose a few draft spot because of a small percentage difference. No one will remember either of our Melbourne wins come draft day.
I don't worry about free kicks but do worry about bias in priority draft picks.

Re: Saints vs Power match day thread
there was calls to just play the kids.........this is what will happen and maybe bigger losing margins will occur .....and we will give more frees away if we are chasing not being chased so get used to it.

Re: Saints vs Power match day thread
Wow we have a bad day at the office, and all of a sudden the sky is falling in AGAIN!!!
Get over it, we're playing kids and if you compare the stats we weren't that bad.
Kicking Eff. 70% compared to 75%
I50's - 52 each
Marks I50 - 12 each
Clangers - we had 8 less (unbelievable, but true)
Realistically we're probably going to have worse results over the next month, and to coin a phrase from Damien Hardwicke "We're about to enter big boy month".
No doubt there'll be posters on here calling for Richo's head by the end of round 23.
