Deb ,

Can you give their numbers to the club and if you happen to know who there favourite players are mention that as well ,,

Be interesting to see if the calls get made

Same I guess for anyone else who knows of lapsed members.

What will be next from this club ?

Just to let you know....

Two weeks ago, the Club has emailed and sent direct mail out to over 35,000 homes who haven't joined as yet or have had their membership lapsed over the past 3 years.

Only just received my membership pack at my other house... address was for my current address which i advised the club to send to and would be altered for the next mailing out. Found out this week that they didn't change the address and sent it to where previous membership packages were sent to. Very frustrating since i paid up just before christmas and would have thought that it wouldn't be too difficult to change the mailing address!!!

Anywho end of rant.

I hope others join up, i have a few university friends who have been previous members- a few from tassie whom i might pander to sign up this year.

But doesn't that count rollover members? If that is the case I would think that we would be significantly behind.

Yes, but doesn't each years progressive totals count rollover members?

At least the Club is trying and have sent out 35,000 letters and emails to members that have not renewed to date and have not done so for about 3 years...

Not necessarily - one could reasonably argue that a large proportion of 'rollovers' were those who renewed prior to Xmas in the past (like myself).

There's no way any of us can make a true assesment of the figures in comparison to other years without knowing what percentage of 'rollovers' would have signed up by this time anyway (based on their membership history).

What would be an interesting figure is the number of new memberships sold this year (first timers or lapsed members coming back) as well as a total number of last year's members who haven't renewed yet.

Got a letter from the club that there was still reserved seats left on ALL Levels.

What happened to the 500 waiting for L2 seats?

Mabye the thought of $125 more for one game less hasn't appealed to the theatre goers

Lance or James??

Dear oh dear oh dear...thats a real worry.

So one can assume that more than 500 Level 2 seatholders have not renewed their seats this year...can be the only explanation to account for the sudden swing from a 500 head waiting list...to there being vacancies they are sending out begging letters to fill???

Well Nettlefold has a bit of Archie's dirty laundry to fix by the sounds of things.

Looks like a few on here might have been right.....I don't want to say "serves them right", because it hurts our bottom line....but it should've been handled better.

I read the other day that Footscray and North's yields are up - ie. the revenue per member....ie. they are getting more reserved seat sales.

I hope we aren't going backwards in that regard.......

Any wonder mate,

I did not notice ONE membership sign at Family Day and I was asked on a few occasions on where to sign up.

One would think there would be huge signs on display at the ground for Membership.

I did notice one sign though it read BEER.

Agreed i wasn't a fan of where they put the membership shall it was outside the oval- if it was next to the scarf/cap collection or the merch stand it would of been a better location!

Crikey!

Are we a ship without a rudder at the moment?

Surely family day is not just about getting Rooey or Milney to sign your jumper!

Selling memberships should be a biggie.

You don't need David Friend to know that FFS.

what about the theory that we were going to tap into a membership bonanza down the peninsula? The SEQ saints could have pulled 100 at carrara
Im getting a funny feeling

Note membership today (19th) is 25,292. - that's 1050 since last Friday so I'd suggest about a 1,000 would have signed up on Family Day.

Just a touch under 2000 less than last year and 700-odd below 2007 :-(

Oh ok, that's a bit of a relief. I thought that this was the first year that we had roll over members due to our new payment packages.

It's quite promising to hear we have sent 35,000 letters/ emails. We should try and claim as many of those tax refunds as we can :D

There you go you bunch of whining sooks

I just renewed my membership, but without the reserved seat...

Still available apparently Level 2 Aisle 28 Row C Seat 51.

I am sure one of the hordes on the waiting list will be eager to snap it up

Oh well back up with the great unwashed on L3 I suppose.

Please you lot, I know we have water restrictions, but possibly could you all have a tub at least three days before a game???? 8-)

We all know your REAL reason for not renewing your reserved seat and it has nothing to do with any contrived protest;

YOU ARE A TIGHT ARZE, nothing more, nothing less     !!
