Get rid of the centre bounce. It's bloody ridiculous how many times the umpire called it back and how much time it takes off the clock.

The clock should be reset like they do in other sports - its a false start caused by the umpires - its not rocket science

Think your missing the point - its when the umpire calls for the ball back to be bounced/thrown up a second time because his initial bounce was complete shite and took 3 seconds off the clock - it happened 3 times in the last quarter which took 10 seconds off the clock which was the difference between Armitage kicking the goal at the end just after the siren blew

Happened earlier in the year as well when Breust for Hawthorn ran into an opening goal just after the siren blew against Essendon - his resulting kick would have won them the match - those vital seconds taken off the clock because of an umpires mistake can effect the outcome of matches

Those extra 10 seconds are vitally important when you are less than 1 goal down and in possession of the ball in your forwardline - plenty of time to spot up someone or kick the goal yourself

AFL should change this and reset the clock on dodgy bounces

Would prefer the clock to be reset even if the shoe was on the foot

Seconds lost due to an umpire error - why should any team be disadvantaged or advantaged for that matter

Reset the clock and then there are no arguments
