Re: Saints V swans
I know it's just NAB Cup but we just ran all over the reigning premier. To the naysayers I saw nothing to indicate that we can't be very competitive this season.

Re: Saints V swans
Hilarious - Roos has spent the whole game commentating as if we were 10 goals down now has to deal with the fact that we are actually going to win the game - the guy is a joke!
Look again it's the Flash!!

Yeah, we had kids playing too, but all that means is that like all practice matches, it means nothing.

Re: Saints V swans
Swans are tired due to most playing the full season up to the GF - changed their story from 1st Qtr when most of todays squad were players who didn't play in the GF.
Look again it's the Flash!!

I will pick you up. Is it the left or right shoulder? The funny thing is you think a guy is biased who never tried to win a NAB cup game and now he isnt part of it all of a sudden he cares. Seriously stop falling over.

you're kidding right? He just spent a heap of time pointing out how the swans went over the interchange quotaThe Linton Street Flash wrote:Hilarious - Roos has spent the whole game commentating as if we were 10 goals down now has to deal with the fact that we are actually going to win the game - the guy is a joke!

For a first year player he is very exciting. Jet is appropriate as the Wright brothers did invent the planesavatage wrote:Nath wright is an absolute jet.

Re: Saints V swans
So has anyone get anything constructive to say about the game as a whole. Haven't been able to watch it but can't seem to get much of an idea due to bickering and slanging on the game thread

Yeah but don't forget "Swans had 9 players out and Saints had 4 more weeks pre season"The Linton Street Flash wrote:Hilarious - Roos has spent the whole game commentating as if we were 10 goals down now has to deal with the fact that we are actually going to win the game - the guy is a joke!

I said I saw nothing to indicate we can't be very competitive. A reasonable call IMOchook23 wrote:their prep is so far behind................bigcarl wrote:I know it's just NAB Cup but we just ran all over the reigning premier. Your brother played really well. Looks super-fit. Reckon he's going up another level, which will be great for us.DWOODROW wrote:So has anyone get anything constructive to say about the game as a whole. Ur bro and Monty BOG.
Sippa and Dunnel started well but faded.
Wilkes gave a contest but it was a smaller blokes who looked most dangerous. Saad good and TDL very creative.
Ross got better as the game went on same with Wright.
We played the boundary well and rarely went through the middle. A bit sloppy kicking into the 50 but our backline looked reasonable against the Swans talls.
Re: Saints V swans
Top three were armo, joey and meister. If armo can do that when dal lenny and steven are next to him he could take the next step. Was in nearly every important piece of play in that final quarter. Agree that wright looks the real deal. Fergo looks to be a medium tall but could be a good one. Mossie fleet awesome, milera needs to just play the ball. Tdl has a bit of class. Hickey macca combo just well work, they compliment each other well. Midfield worked hard and it was a good win. Stanley looked ok near end of match
