There are so many shitbags populating this thread this evening.
It's really very funny in a sad way.

"The inches we need are everywhere around us. They're in every break in the game. Every minute, every second. On this team we fight for that inch. On this team we tear ourselves and everyone around us to pieces for that inch. We claw with our fingernails for that inch. Because we know when we add up all those inches that's gonna make the f***in' difference between winning and losing! Between living and dying!'

You my friend are an idiot..he had 7 possessions tonight in a game in which he should have stood up. I admire the man and his abilities but he has a responsibility to perform...as a member of this club I am like a shareholder... if management does not perform, they need a kick up the arse...grow up idiot and face facts

Game conclusion:
We have too many hacky, battly, scrubbing skilless players who cannot execute good kicks, handballs or make good decisions with a high frequency.
These players are guilty
Gram
Gilbert
Steven
Armitage
Peake
Gamble
Ray
Now, each of them do good things occasionally but their geelong equivalents do those good things at a higher frequency. Over the course of the game it means our opponent will be goals ahead.

And it's equally sad to see so many on here, who constantly defend players like Gram, Raph, Dawson and this year Roo, Gilbert and Milne when they are either way past there used by date or sadly out of form!!!Thinline wrote:There are so many shitbags populating this thread this evening.

We are the only club that continually rewards blokes for what they may have done 1, 2 or 3 years ago.
Wake up and smell the roses, this club needs to move forward and I seriously doubt all the blokes I've listed above, except maybe Roo and Gilbert will be around next year.

I reckon that's been the case for quite a while. The difference was (over the past 2 seasons) is that we've had brilliant seasons from our 5-6 stars.
Bring those 5-6 stars back to the pack, and clearly we can't rely on the blokes you've listed to step up and win games for us.
Maybe we've been dilusional. Maybe we've been too reliant on the indivudal performances of these guys.
Frustrating times.

They OWE you, don't they? Gotta make good on that INVESTMENT of yours.
And you're telling me to grow up?
Man, this place is a circus sometimes.
Riewoldt busts a nut year in year out and you, supreme coward that you are evidently, snipe at the hens teeth that are his poor games from the sanctuary of a computer keyboard.
You and your kind are just f****** weird.
