Just Aussie's opinion, which he's entitled to. Not sure that Aussie Jones is the gospel for our great game though.
BTW - Not sure ANYONE one here is stating that Gram's kicking is up to scratch at the moment. Appears to be though that some see past this and appreciates what he brings to our team, others either think he should bring more or reckon his kicking will bring the team down next week. Maybe we can resume this debate after the game next week

Not sure about what this thread is about. If it is that his disposal was poor yesterday well fair enough. If it is that we should drop Gram well those people have no knowledge of how important he is to our side and even yesterday was one of our best even if he did butcher the ball on occasions.
And to the posters having a go at his courage you are surely joking. He is an outside player but still occasionly gets the hard ball. No one playing AFL footy lacks courage. Not everyone can play like Bally and the last thing we would want as a team is for every player to play that way.

What is the ISSUE with critisising Gram's kicking?????
Blind Freddy could see he DID NOT hit a target 80% of the time and often his kicks gave the fwds NO advantage.......his disposal was appaulling.
are our players that precious that they cannot be critisised for even glaring deficiencies in their game??????
Gram would be very disappointed with his execution during the game, probably not as much as Nick though, who after working his butt off, was on the end of some of the rubbish from Gram..

its not like EVERY kick slid off the side of the slipper and went out on the full or along the ground.
i did get frustrated after the third time he put the footy over the leading players head tho....just had too much oomff on the kicks.
and pluggers right, he is an outside running player.
he isnt a dive on top of the footy get in head down kinda player.
hey dont get me wrong some of his kicking has drove me nuts and ive said plenty of time he needs new slippers (:P).
but if he isnt in the side, then our run wouldve been half that last night of what it actually was.
all he needs to do is lower the eyes a bit as he lets rip.

i remember gram doing a good job on judd not that long ago.
he will be important for us.
they might put a selwood or alike on him to make him accountable and to stop him from running off so he has to worry more about his opponent.
