Well one thing about knocking off the Cats in the NAB cup is that it might give membership a nice kick along by getting those sitting on the fence to commit.

I'm trying toi decide whether I can afford it this year. it will purely be a donation if I do because I'm working full time and it takes up mainly Firday and Saturday nights so I won't get many oppurtunites to even see the game, let alone attend them. But it would be nice to simply have the chance to just go "Well, I'll go to the footy this weekend" when I'm not working.

I bet figures will go up quite a bit this week.

If for nothing else but the enhanced media coverage on them being one of four teams left in the competition.

Go on man! I have had years like that and still joined, but I have also not renewed here and there over the last 15 years.

But WE need you. Membership is so important.

I've decided I'm joining up. I don't care if I don't go to a game this year. I want to be a part of what looks like being a record-breaking membership year. I hope we also keep winning because then we'll have more members joining up and give ourselves a chance at the million dollar incentive (or atleast the 250 k incentive for the NAB)

Current total, according to the site is still 23,804.

Great numbers, assuming it will be more after Saturdays result.

A gutsy five point win against reigning Premiers Geelong in week 2 of the NAB Cup on the weekend, the Saints now head into a semi-final clash against the Bombers on Friday night at Telstra Dome.
St Kilda’s membership tally is currently 24,169, with 7000 members yet to re-join this season, however if we can get all Sainters on board, we can break the Club’s all time Membership record of 32,300.

Became an AFL Member three days before the Richmond NAB match. Got a text today from the Club urging me to re-join. However part of AFL membership is club of choice membership.

Not sure what's happening there. Probably still being processed.

I could, but unfportunately, our printer won't work except when connected to my laptop. So I'd have to download it, save it to a memory key, transfer it to my laptop, connect the printer and print it out. I would just do that, but unfortunately my laptop screen is stuffed and its gonna cost $479 to repair.

Anyway, they gave me a new form, and I think i'm just gonna use my fiancé's master card and pay it over the phone. that's what I usually do in these situations. Just saves a lot of hassle.

Looking good for breaking that record. Fingers crossed! XXXXXXXXXX

We are going very well with membership but remember this season is one week earlier than normal so we need to be at least 1000-1500 ahead of our record year for the same time to be on track for a record.

fair point, but on the positive side, when the membership number cutoff occurs in mid-June, the season will have been going for an extra week (prob not an extra round though given two bye week as opposed to the usual one bye week).
