Great win against a determined desperate opposition. Considering our injuries it’s just good to win.

You forgot to thank the Umps who were the difference and got us over the line!

Steele was superb again. These two players along with Membrey were the main reason why we won in the end.

Defence overall excellent.

Marshall a good game against Krueser.
Considering how inexperienced the backline is it has been superb all year, save for Josh and Callum being a gift from the recruitment gods we would be stuffed. No Jake, No Jimmy, No Jarryn, No Roberton. WOW.

It's official, our backline is our new weapon.
Agree
Brown was huge. Savage excellent again. Thought Marsh did a few good things. Considering his very limited preparation he's going ok.
Awful game. Again we are left with more questions than answers.
You always will with a very young side with very low games of experience accross the team sheet, oh and no captain and a 3rd of your best 22 injured.

The pelicans don't get it, we have got a nice list building.

We beat the Bluescum - only thing better then a 10 + goal win against them is a close win against them with a depleted list

Suck it up!

Winners.

Just another Franko Cotso sale item 😘😘😘😘
Some supporters are content with mediocrity.

Unfortunately I am not one of them.
I think the term 'Supporters' in your case could be a lie, but each to their own. As stated before, today's win WILL NOT help Richo keep the job, he has already been informed of that, so sleep easy. 😉
What do you mean?

If he has already been informed, why is he still in charge of this football team?

Wasnt a game for the ages, but I can recall 3 howlers from savage and 2 from Phillip's that resulted in goals to the blues.
Add in 3 missed gimmes and it's an 8 goal difference and we win by 60+.
So we did a bit right.
There is heaps of areas to improve, but I reckon getting games into all these players will hold us in good stead .

Ross had more howlers than anyone out there today, just shouldn't be allowed to kick the ball

has anyone mentioned Skunk- he only takes marks against rubbish teams, like Demons and Blues.
He can't mark against anyone else, they know how to counter him.
And when he has a set shot within range, it's a coin toss as to whether he's accurate.

Six marks and four goals against Collingwood last week. Seven marks against the Eagles the week before. Six marks today.

Please explain.

Maybe if we gave them an indigenous flag to wave, Parker and Long would stop waving the ball from side to side before the ball drop. Guess where the ball drops and the kick goes when you wave the ball. Anywhere from out of bounds to out of bounds on the other side.

Carlton were pinged so many times correctly for holding the ball while vertical. Caught in possession.
That alone would account for the difference of 8.

I noted this earlier, that they seemed to have had the leniency they are used to getting taken away from them, I suspect due to:
- Daisy's comments last week; and/or
- The chanting "The Umpires are Cheats"

I would be interested in a breakdown of what the free kicks were for - not just this week, but every week and who paid what. I have a feeling that certain umpires look for things, and others let them ride - eg an umpire who played as a forward in junior leagues may give a different interpretation of chopping the arms as opposed to an umpire who played as a defender.

31 - 23 means 11 to 16 in the second half - we did not have it all our way, and a few of the frees were paid when it was also clearly a mark I was astounded though that the Blues did not win a free for ALL of the 2nd, was that the period that the Carlscum Cheer Squad were chanting?
