Football supporters are the minority in this country... there would be less footy supporters than Catholics

Why do the minority of Australians need to impose their standards on the majority?
Minority is AFL followers... majority seem to be happy with the staus quo.

No i wasnt. It doesnt worry me in regards to sunday footy.
Good friday is an interesting case point. With the dumbing down of this society people feel their life is incomplete without one friday watching footy.(Minority of Australians).. and whislt many other Australians of all faiths and backgrounds seem to be able to survive the day without any form of interruption.. some cannot from some of the footy supporting cult.. and other clubs with vested interests in bringing down Good friday..

So i am asking YOU to answer... why do you feel you cannot get through a single one off day without the cholestrol of others creating your entertainment on what shuld be their holiday as well as yours into your system???

Im interested in the human behaviour side of this argument.

Why is one day that has no distraction equate to an unfulfillment and boredom in your life??

Why demand others fulfill the hollowness that fills your inner being???

I think thats to me is the major question in all this.

What is it about todays exstence in people that needs instant gratification and artificial entertaiment so as they can have some kind of self worth and a reason for being in one day per year???

To me.. thats what i love about Easter Friday more than anything.
Fantastic day!!!... love it!!!.. and no.. i dont celebrate it!

No the MC GF is bigger than the AFL GF
Any master chef episode rates higher than Aussie rules games.

More Australians are interested in MC and the biggest loser than AFL live.

Are there 9 episodes a week a masterchef and is it on two channels? The MC GF was more popular than the AFL GF for 2 years it isnt anymore.

i think it shouldnt

which one of us is right?

Oh yes... but a head to head for the GF means that MORE Australians are interested in who the winner of a sensational piece of Aussie iconic tv .. (MC)... than who wins the AFL GF.
Thats not in dispute... the TV figures tell us this is so......

What percentage of Australians watched the Essendon /Adelaide Carlton/Richmond games?

Nice!
Sounds like its not such a horrendous undemocratic BDSM experience to not have footy on Good friday as some would like us to think.
Enjoy it ..!!!And if one day the footy is on too..enjoy that also! But this nonsensical whineing . demanding...complaining ...pseudo footy cold turkey some people like Saints premiers is attempting to stir up is completely over the top...
I wonder what drives it?... i have a fair idea when it comes to him.

No more people do not watch MC final now than the GF. They did but not now. No idea how many watched those games. Have no idea what all this means about good friday footy anyway.

If you go through my posts i actually post on all kinds of stuff.
But nice of you to make some falsites up.The hat fits you again. LOL
Ok so you do occasionally post about footy also. But 0.05 posts per day means hardly at all.

And you once said Watters wouldn't be a career coach
Two years doesnt make him a career coach.

Whats your definition of career coach?
One, who unlike you, is progressive in his thinking and open to new ideas and challenges so he can adapt to change.

Ok.!
Let us get abit clear with your thinking here
Progressive in his thinking and open to new ideas and challenges so he can adapt to change...... but if that coach WAS you as open minded thinker.,progressive open to new ideas and challenges and adapting to change he would be circumcising his sons according to Old Testament Torah law ????

Plugger
It means the majority of the people in our society are not in fact Aussie Rules supporters who will go to the footy or watch it on tv.
In fact its a huge minority.
So people should stop pretending its the majority
The majority dont even watch MC and that draws huger crowds than the GF in Aussie Rules.

Now shoooosh the game is beginning.

Good Friday was a great day, they gave me a day off with pay, i got pyssed as a parrot and ate too many BBQ steaks and sausages, would have probably fallen asleep by the time the footy started, maybe good that it wasnt on.

I have a son whom I chose not to circumcise even though I'm 100% Jewish.
