Well all of you F*** off and support a different team if you dont like it.

So sick of the hysterical bleatings of moronic supporters who have their self worth mixed in with some bunch of moronic footballers and think it is eath shattering.

Absolutely no perspective. Don is on deaths door and all i hear are bleating about a couple of kids being caught out being stupid.

If you have had a "gutful" go, leave, dont come back, or at least until their is a sense of where football fits in the scheme of things.

Or go the the AGM and voice you disapproval.

FGS, stop the hysterical whining.

No wonder RF left this rathole.
Beg your pardon!

This isn't over Joffaboy, don't think the club is going to get away with a slap on the wrist for 'misuse of prescription meds'

Club has serious issues, time to admit it, and look to set it right.

Oh, and I can express my sentiments in whichever way I choose.
Exactly. Who does he think he is to tell any of us where to go?
Well you can all wallow in your self misery, makes no difference to me.

chicken little hysterics

There'll be no cutting until I see whose photo is on the card. If it's Roo, then it may well meet the scissors.

It's annoying but it's really about the media and public perception. Young goes do stupid things from time to time - fact. It's just that it's come on top of the other sh*t.

I think actually it's probably time some of the supposed fringe players trying to get into the team actually provided some proof they are worth a shot. The team needs a little more mongrel and less complacency.

I've never seen a bad St.Kilda player - that's just how they are.

yeah i wondered why he was so upset about the photo being released, would have been pround of it myself.

Still think he slapped it around a bit before Gilbo took the shot.

s*** they are a weird bunch at the Saints. Nude shots of each other, drinking, taking drugs (excuse will be NZ would drive anyone to drugs).

Aint they just great ? :D :D

Neither the alcohol (unless unthinkables such as brawling, public nuisance, sexual misbehaviour etc are involved) nor disobedience of curfew (unless antisocial behaviour while on the loose are committed) are going to be of major ongoing interest to the media.

Priscription drugs are different. There are prescription drugs and there are prescription drugs. The media is going to have a field day speculating and it will cause havoc among the playing group and us long suffering supporters.

The club has one way to stop all the speculation. Name the drugs involved. I do not know what the rules governing this disclosures are. I stromgly believe that players lost the right to privacy when they abused those drugs and let thier team mates and supporters down.

In the past I have made no adverse comments regarding players caught up in one or another drama. This time I am mighty angry.........I just hope that the pressure that has been building up due to far too many off field issuse coupled with heartbreaking consecutive grand final losses is not breaking down those team members with limited capacity for resiliance.

We've missed the finals once since 2004.
We've played in the GF the last two seasons and have been a kick away from winning them both.
Imagine how good we will be when we get our s*** together!

Why did they need them...it's not like they were in playing mode.

Not as bad as it could have been but sooo not what we needed.

When will it end.

Very sick of it....

They got a kick up the arse - BY THE CLUB.

Discipline is good, breaking curfew wont be tolerated and they learnt a valuable lesson on what it takes to be a Saints player.

What he said.

I'm still ropeable at Nick Riewoldt playing on and getting tackled by Heath Shaw at a crucial moment of the Granny.

This is nothing.

It's a football club, not a seminary. No, that doesn't mean that anything goes, but it does mean....... GET SOME PERSPECTIVE people.

So careless, they could of ended up in hospital, just ask Ben Cousins.

I don't think I've been hysterical?

The only overreacting I've seen on here tonight, is JB :P

I don't expect perfection, I certainly don't expect choir boys, but I expect care factor....

Not really getting a vibe there is much of that at the moment, just saying.

I understand what you're saying Con but unfortunately it's not the end of the story.

It's not so much what they actually did but more that:

They did it on the back of all the other stuff
They should have been aware that it would lead to trouble and that the club & the media would find out.
Steven & Stanley should have been thinking of nothing other than to try and cement their spots in a team that had played in the GF in the last two years (especially as Ross had mentioned their names and the need to change)

So in this particular instance, for this particular poster, the normal quotes about choir boys not winning flags is just not gonna cut it.

Unbelievable! So sick of this crap.
Fair enough to suspend them but couldn't we keep it in house?

I'm worried this could get worse. I believe there was a trend going through the nrl a few years ago. I think it was sleeping pills with red bull and vodka apparently it was like speed.

Really not impressed especially because I had high hopes for 3 of them.

OK, I'm probably displaying extreme ignorance here.
But can someone please explain why taking sleeping tablets is cool?

Apart from sleeping, is there some other side-effect from them?
And wouldn't the player be likely to fall asleep before experiencing it?

ok but i really like that quote and i like to use it at any given opportunity.

ok i agree. they could have hired dvds or played x box or scrabble or even nude twister. or even just got some chicks over to their rooms i suppose. there is always a more sensible way to fill your time. and it certainly pisses off paying members to be playing up all the time when they are in a privileged position.

The key with sleeping pills is keeping yourself awake.

If you take sleeping pills yet don't allow yourself to fall asleep you can experience some pretty intense highs. THere was a pill going around the us a couple of years ago that people were abusing it had such a severe effect on peoples realities that they were doing all sorts of things, even self mutilation.

I know a bit from first hand experience. I have had a chronic nerve problem in my shoulder since I was 16 because of this I self medicate with prescribed pills. I've been given day and night strength pills. The night ones also act as a sedative, I have found if I don't go to bed relatively soon after taking them I get really loopy. I take these probably once a week depending on how my shoulder is feeling. IT is actually a very nice sensation so I can understand why people would do things like that.
