I wouldn't be surprised if the GC had little interest in Armo. It's Scott Clayton's team and he's always struck me as being more interested in the quick, ball-carryiers and the athletically freakish talls. I wouldn't be surprised at all to find out he'd looked into Rhys Stanley. He's already got a few in and under types in his midfield. The other coach in Queensland might be more interested in Armo, but some committee is probably about to ban him from trading.
I hope Armo isn't going to get stuck as a backup to Lenny. IMO, he's AFL level right now, he just happens to be stuck on a good team that doessn't much need an in and under on baller.
Is Armo going to Sign

"The inches we need are everywhere around us. They're in every break in the game. Every minute, every second. On this team we fight for that inch. On this team we tear ourselves and everyone around us to pieces for that inch. We claw with our fingernails for that inch. Because we know when we add up all those inches that's gonna make the f***in' difference between winning and losing! Between living and dying!'
I am now a lot more confident of him staying after reading this post from somebody who has ACTUAL connections at the club.DWOODROW wrote:I apologise Thinline, I was actually having ago at SB10. Who's right?
He was working at a corporate function at Fankhauser Reserve, Southport and wearing a rather bright red shirt with SUNS on it. He's a bloke I now extremely well. He's extremely well entrenched with the club. Might even work there, let's say. He let slip about Bock pre-annoucnement and how it wasn't what the Suns really wanted. They wanted all announcements post season. He also said I needn't worry about Saints heading nth. There ain't any, accg to him.
I'm not saying he's right. I'm merely pointing out the fickleness of 'sources'. It never ceases to amaze me how 'sources' can come up with such varied information. Diametrically opposed even.
Only time will tell re your man, Woodrow. I just desperately want him to tear the Tigers midfield a new arsehole on Saturday. I'm big on the No 20. I like the cut of his jib. Always have.
So many people just hear rumors then pass them on as fact and before you know it, the whole world is an expert on who's going where.
