Re: 4th Ashes Test
The Pommy bowlers are so conditions dependant. Broad and Anderson have always been average overseas, and Woakes looks like a star at home but averages something like 50 outside of England!
All posters are equal, but some posters are more equal than others.

Re: 4th Ashes Test
The only disappointing thing about this series is that Anderson & Broad didn't chair Warner off on their shoulders for his contribution to their figures.
I am happy with a drawn series and the ringing of whinging coming from those that are now living the life of "convicts", stuck in a hole called London, England.

I was impressed. Always hard for number three or four pacer overseas. They are used as yard dogs, and plough horses.
You're quite brilliant Shane, yeah..terrific!

Re: 4th Ashes Test
So we lost graciously, not like those whinging poms. Needed less than 3 runs an over and bottled it? England unfortunately finished all over us even with several aging stars. How fast is Wood. Where's our express pace. If Anderson is a dud, how about Stark. How slow was Labushagne. Cummins has great player resources but no ideas. Hopefully we regroup for next home series. Freshen up the line up with new exciting talent. New coach?

Was always going to be hard chasing a record total on day 5. The damage was done on day 1 dropping 5 catches.Yorkeys wrote: ↑Tue 01 Aug 2023 9:32pm So we lost graciously, not like those whinging poms. Needed less than 3 runs an over and bottled it? Starc is a strike bowler, his average is 1 higher than Anderson but his strike rate is 8 lower. He also took 23 wickets in the series, Anderson 5. He is cooked.

Non binary pronoun. More inclusive than Aussies. Denotes belonging, part of the tribe sort of vibe. Are you policing semantics now. Good job, will keep us on our toes.saynta wrote: ↑Wed 02 Aug 2023 11:37amWhat's with this "we" bulls***.Yorkeys wrote: ↑Tue 01 Aug 2023 9:32pm So we lost graciously, not like those whinging poms. Profanity is an essential part of my vocabulary. You have obviously never mixed with people from our legal profession, or our dock workers.Yorkeys wrote: ↑Wed 02 Aug 2023 12:43pmNon binary pronoun. Now 22 years since a series win for Australia in England. Some great cricket played during this series. Well done Australia in retaining the urn.
