I can’t believe I’m saying this but I hope they should call the season off. Players whinging about not having their families with them. Well if you don’t want to make the sacrifice let’s see how they like $0.

That's fairly insensitive. So you think it's ok for a man to not have any contact with his wife or kids for an extended period. Is that fair on the kids, or should it be fairly simple for kids to make the sacrifice.

And what about international sports stars, business men and women , people in the army/navy, miners etc? Provide for your family by doing what ever is required. 8 weeks away? Is that too much to ask? No

Hardly any of those professions demand an 8 week swing and the ones that do are done by people who sign up for that life style. The AFL players and thier families didn't sign up for it. Big difference.
