Bloody Arrogance!

Post: # 999179Post Jewellzy »

Through the 2nd quarter, the Collingwood fans around me were acting like it was all over. Chanting, screaming, ridiculing our players. Even when Cloke missed kicked those two behinds, they said it didn't matter because, "We'll win it with behinds anyway"

Do you think I heard a peep out of them in the second half?

Unbelievable.

I dared to dream when Goddard kicked that goal. If not for the team, if not for the Saints fans, but to rub it in to the smug, arrogant Filth fans that thought they had the flag won by showing up to the ground.

Stick it up 'em next week boys. Don't give 'em a sniff. Show those arrogant pricks how we roll down at Moorabbin!

I like Jewellzy...they got out of jail today, let's hope we give 'em the belting they've been asking for all season next week. :D

When Milney was running into the goals with the ball bouncing near the end of the game.... if only the ball 'sat up' fpr him.
Imagine if he had kicked the winning goal - what poetic justice that would have been!

.......if only......

I don't have a problem with a bit of confidence but I thought the guy on Punt Rd selling Magpie Premiers 2010 t shirts before the game was going a bit far.

that's what keeps running through my head. If only.
Oh well.
They should give us a half premiership for the cruel bounce and we'll have a full premiership next week.
1.5 premierships....You beauty

With him looking towards Malthouse and giving the Bird,

This had been discussed as the perfect finish

You reckon Collingwood aren't saying the same thing? Of course they are.

I was worried we'd get done by a point ... or worse, get smashed after trailing by 24 at half time.

I'll take a draw and I reckon we've softened Collingwood up a bit for next week.

My thoughts exactly. They were selling them after the GF parade yesterday too. I can understand the opportunism of the seller, but it's the mentality of the people who buy and wear them that gets to me. There was a woman in the Olympic stand near me with one on. She wasn't close enough to have a crack at though, unfortunately.

The filth are back out in force this morning. They played very very average and St Kilda played at their best so it is going to be an even bigger slaughter than it was supposed to be yesterday.

Seriously, do this lot ever learn? Quietly, quietly approach from the Saints supporters again this week. We don't need to talk up our team, we KNOW how darn good they are!!!

No wonder there were sewage problems at the G yesterday, the Filth are full of shite!!!!!

Such was the ego of some of their supporters near us, during that second quarter they were taking photos of each other following each goal for their photo album.

Delete!

And the silence from that bay in the last quarter was deafening whilst our bay was up and standing and cheering.

Lots of neutrals I know who didn't really rate us but wanted us to win because of the filth factor have messaged me in the last 24 hours and have a real belief now in our game plan.

Quotes "Saints by 55 next week" "Pies prematurely evaluated their own importance, go Saints", "I want to have Lenny's babies" (from a male), "Goddard is an out and out champ and he should be with Juddy, destroy them next week" (from a Blue)

[quote="Jewellzy"]Do you think I heard a peep out of them in the second half?

Unbelievable.quote]

I had the same experience. We constantly yelled "siddown in front" to a group of obnoxious Pie fans who stood whenever the ball came close and hugged and high fived with that cocky shallow brashness we've been subjected to over the past fortnight.

Very, very quiet after half time.

Not very resilient our Pie friends.
