It has been a pleasure sharing this season with you all. Through the good, the bad and the ugly, and here we are paused on the eve of a tilt at the flag.
This forum has been a great place to get news, inspiration and laughs and share our passion for the red, white and black.
Cheer out loud and proud in full voice this Saturday. A fierce battle awaits our boys that is for sure.
Show your colours with pride. As Harvs said hold close the image of Jack sitting on high with his children cheering our saints on.
I hope more than I can say that that come Saturday afternoon we will all be belting out our club’s song.
Come what may I can honestly say there is nothing I would rather be than a passionate saint.

After we beat the Cats in the rd13 clash, I said to anyone who would listen 'there is no betting in the grand-final, the Saints will win'. I have been really nervous all week (I reckon I've slept 2 hrs total) but am the calmest I've been this morning. Just hearing the interviews done with BJ, Lenny, Schnieder- about how much this flag means, after last year, fills me with a quiet confidence. I love that Ross did his interviews last night for 7 an 9 from his home, while Mick did the rounds- I just get the feeling something special is brewing- I guess I'm hoping and preying something special is brewing. I don't post much but browse this site at least once a day and am always impressed and surprised at the level of knowledge many have, and the absolute commitment.

I am terribly isolated from saints supporters here.
None at my workplace. None amongst my circle of friends. None that i really actually know of at all.
This forum is an extremely important outlet for me so i can ride the emotional rollercoaster with people who understand how i am feeling.
The day after last year's grandfinal, i couldn't be at the wake at etihad but it was so important to have this place to come and share in the grief because i was struggling and the words 'it's only a game of footy blah blah' held very little meaning at that point in time. Love this place.

I know how you feel Badlands, but get to Ainslie FC. Atleast it is red white and black. I have lived in Canberra and Queensland, and I tell you, I'd rather have Canberra any day. I was out in Brisbane city this morning, and was the only person wearing the colours. Didn't see another Saints soul. Can't wait to get to Melb tonight!

What ever happens in a couple of hours - what an amazing ride it's been.
To line up in back-to-back GFs only a couple of years after all and sundry were prepared to declare our premiership window firmly shut... we are very fortunate to have incredible leaders at our club and a fantastic coach. Great to get on here and read other people who think like I do about football.
I am sure some of my friends and colleagues think I am nuts.... one calls me a 'Tragic". Happy with that bc to me it means passionate!

Call me crazy, or one eyed and living too much in the Saints bubble but I have so much faith in our boys. They will fight hard and no matter what they will leave it all on the field. They never gave up last Saturday and they wont this Saturday either.
No matter what happens though, can always say I am so very proud to be a saint (i still want that flag with a burning passion though
