Rooey will coach St Kilda in the future
There you go.
That's my early call.
Might be 10 years away, but will happen.
He's a natural leader, are smart tool in the shed, and knows a bit about the game.
Thoughts?

Agree. He doesn't have the personality to cope with the full media etc that would be required. I also don't think he would be ruthless enough.Bernard Shakey wrote:Harvey will never be a senior coach.SaintWal wrote:Probably,
Harves may get in first, although Jeans had a few years after his premiership so Ross should be safe for a while.
Might be a good Forward coach with Lenny midfield and max down back
Seems a good prospect as an assistant though.
I think Roo will do very well in the media if that's the way he wants to go. Will command a lot of respect. I liked Buckley last year and Harley this year in the media and gave me a greater appreciation for them. I think Roo would be very good at this. I also think he would be a good coach. His coach thinks so too

I'm inclined to agree with BS.FortiusQuoFidelius wrote:Why do you say that Bernard??Bernard Shakey wrote:Harvey will never be a senior coach.SaintWal wrote:Probably,

He already has the pointing and screaming down pat... and I can picture him smashing phones.
Very true
Though he might need to learn to control it a bit. Apparently Buckley is a really good coach and yet was an angry young man as a younger player so there's hope for BJ yet.
