This Premiership will belong not only to the 2010 saints list but everyone who's ever worn the red, white and black.

I love Peter Kiel (who the?) I prefer to think our great minds are thinking alike than I have ripped you off. Which is not to say I wouldn't if I could.
And Starsign you are a genius. Nicky Winmar on the ground at the end of the game and lifting his shirt to the Collingwood Cheer Squad is too fantastic an idea not to happen. Someone make it happen!!!

Sorry if any offence was caused.
For the younger people...
Peter Kiel played in the late '70s and early '80s for the Saints. The years '79-'86 were really hard.
There was no draft, no salary cap and no hope!
The only thing that kept supporters going was our blind faith in the Saints and our beloved heroes.
Peter Kiel epitomised this spirit. He wasn't very flashy or glamorous...I seem to remember him wearing special spectacles on the field! A real trier...no. 17 (correct me if I'm wrong).
This is why I chose his name in my title.
My completely irrational love of this club is one of the things which sustains me in life.
PS went to the B +F last year. All winners were listed. I hadn't realised PK had won it in '82. So he must have been a good player!

I posted last year that if Milney,Schneider and Mini kicked 5 between them
we'd win the big one. We all know what happened.....
I feel it's the same this year.Goals can be very hard to come by.
I don't think we can count on Mini to much.
When was the last time he kicked a goal?
I think Peake is capable of a couple, and I'm hoping the Fray might put in
a blinder that no one saw coming.
We simply must kick some midfield goals.
Milney and Schneider need to fire! (They will,of course)
GO SAINTS!

Thanks kozifantutti23...looks like I've been labouring under a misunderstanding! Doubts set in when I found PK won the B+F in '82.
Anyway it was a dark era...but glorious because we kept the faith! I seem to remeber also the Saints almost 'went under' as a business until guys like Jeans agreed to accept 6 cents in the dollar of the money they were owed.
God bless 'em all!

Actually I remember a journo wrote a piece comparing Fed to Geelong, and Nadal to the Saints. One is silky, one is workmanlike.saint patrick wrote:Ha..have always thought that Kosi and Rapha Nadal look like brothers ..your subconscious seems to agreeBadlands wrote:I have been having all sorts of weird saints related dreams over the last week or so.
Last night i can recall two quite vividly: one involved Kosi absolutely dominating his way through a tennis tournament. In the other one, Kosi and Rooey agreed to be extras in a Bollywood film.
I don't know what any of this means.
Any dream interpreters out there?
In the US open, Fed didn't even make the final in a shock loss, and Nadal beat Novac, a young and confident up and comer....Collingwood?
