Did anyone go to the foreshore last year??

What's the go?? Can you bring fold out chairs etc???

Obviously no alcohol, but could you bring you own food and esky and all that sort of stuff??

Looks like this is where I'll be watching from, the search for tickets is looking not too good.

Apparently the foreshore was a disaster as there was a squall off the sea and all day rain. There seemed to be about seven really hardcore fans down there suffering.

Went to the Village Belle in Barkly Street instead.

My family and I will definately be at O'Donnell Gardens this year.

We were also at the foreshore last year, which, despite the shocking weather, (and the games result) was a great day.

They had an MC, a band, some give aways & alot of the media their too, to film and photograph Saints fans before/during/after. (My Daughter made it on Ch10 news singing The Saints song on stage)

There were also competitions for the kids to win things like Saints footys, etc.
and lot's of grassy areas to kick the footy.

People had seats, blankets, whatever. There were no restrictions. You could bring your own food or buy a snag and drink from the BBQ tent

It was a great Pro-Saints day with not a Cat fan in site. There would've been a couple of hundred there, but had it been a better day, it would've been huge

As the weather is looking good for Saturday, I recommend that any Saints fan, that can't be at the 'G, to definately head down O'Donnell Gardens.

Ill be at the game. But no alcohol = no good. Whats with that? Way to turn off 80% of people!! Most people can drink responsibly you know!

We're pretty happy to hold off until the celebrating begins post match.

But I agree, even if it was only light beer allowed, would be good.
