I know its a 4 quarter effort that wins you the game, but I think its so critical that we get on top early on. It seems like we take a little while to get going. Also the past 2 matches we've kicked 4.7 and 1.5 in our first quarters. The team we are playing against will punish us if we don't take our chances.. we don't want to be on the back foot early on.

Bad goal kicking has played a huge part in the past 2 grand finals. The Pies are always a chance of kicking 10.16 etc, but lets not let it happen again to us.

More importantly Collingwood hasn't given up a decent leave by half tine this year. If we can hurt them as much in the first half as we did Geelong, we're just about there.

They will be more nervous than us.

Is is Very Very Very important we take our early chances and get a few goals on the board.

Then if they miss a few early ones, that nervousness will just compound under scoreboard pressure giving us a chance to get out to a handy lead before they compose themselves.

Agree, we need to capitalise on our GF experience by putting them under a bit of scoreboard pressure early, forcing them to question themselves a little bit.

Their best chance is to jump us like they did to Geelong on Friday night, so it is vital that we start well.

If we start well and the match becomes a typical Saints arm wrestle game I really fancy our chances.
