Hate the idea of the live site being at Fed square.

Last year the live site was on the foreshore on St kilda beach, which was exclusive to Saints fans

This year, they're not even bothering to come up with our own live site, but are instead telling to watch it at Fed square where we'll, no doubt, be outnumbered by filth ferals.

Very poor effort

Yes, that's right, the last two occasions, the club saw fit ( and rightly so) to cater for it's loyal supporter base who cannot be present at the 'G, by providing the next best thing.

This year, they have more or less said 'If you wanna watch it on the big screen, they've got one in town if you wanna see it there'

Dissapointing

I'm shattered the club isn't providing its own live site.

I want to share this occasion with others. But those others are St Kilda supporters; not a disparate bunch of Saints fans, Collingwood ferals, neutrals and backpackers at Fed Square.

I hope this isn’t a reaction to the poor turnout at St Kilda foreshore last year. The weather was shocking and if it was at Moorabbin (or even Franga) we’d get thousands.

Is this a directive from the AFL? Can clubs no longer hold their own live sites because that would detract from the league’s events? If so, yet another tradition of our game has been killed by the AFL’s fetish for homogenising and rationalising everything it can get its hands on.

Collingwood will be at the Sidney Myer Music bowl

and if at Fed square then you have front row for when the Saints come on stage at 8 pm.
also a chance to Convert those backpackers-- Spread the Saints word and combat the eddie empire

Good news: the club will also have a live site at St Kilda foreshore.

Details will be on the website later in the week.

That is good news.

The Filth are only letting members in the the Music Bowl, so the one's who can fork out $150 a year will be there, the one's who can't afford $150 a year will be at Fed Square.....

Gee, I hope your right. We booked accommodation in St kilda after the final siren on Saturday night, thinking the live site would naturally be at the foreshore again.

We were all devastated when the club website said we could watch it at Fed square with CollingFilth ferals.
