"In many ways, I think Geelong and Collingwood would rather not face each other in the Grand Final.
"That's no disrespect to St Kilda, but they do it in a different way. I think that sort of game can be beaten by the really good sides.
"They did it last week, but Geelong should have beaten St Kilda, kicking 1.7 in the last quarter."
What tha? He says no disrespect to St. Kilda but that is disrespect to me. What does he mean we can be beaten by really good sides? What are we then? We have beaten Geelong 3 out of the last 4 times and Collingwood only beat us for the first time in a few years in round 16 this year? Some people really don't rate us do they? I think we are a little bit better than poeple give us credit for. Our record against the remaining 3 teams in the past couple of years has been outstanding. We are a huge chance this year. Just keeping underating us and we will stick it up em all when it matters this year! Bring it on biatches! Carn the mighty bloody sainters!

When Harvey played his first game in 1988, I was a 12yo wearing short pants and struggling with my readin', writin' and 'rithmetic in grade eight. Now, I'm a father of three and a retired AFL player. And he's still going. Amazing! - Michael Voss

Who cares!
Slipping under the radar is the perfect outcome for us.
If Coll and Geel start thinking the Premiership is decided this Friday night, then that is a great mental outcome for us.
And why would you take Tony Shaw seriously.
The man is so dumb he runs into trees.

The rest of Australia can wander mask-free, socialise, eat out, no curfews, no zoning, no police rings of steel, no illogical inconsistent rules.

Haha good call dude! I guess I am just so passionate and protective of our club. Maybe you are right and going under the radar is a good thing. Let's hope the winner of friday's prelim thinks they have it in the bag, that could be our best chance of winning itEnrico_Misso wrote:Who cares!

Tony shaw does serve the purpose of making hutchy not look like a complete imbecile.
And yet Shaw has a premiership medal and 300 odd games.
Its really hard to select who is the biggest numbnuts from the two of them.

I was really p!!ssed of when I first read this, but then I started to think like you have. Let them all do and say what they like, and I think RL would be enjoying the the media suggesting that the Geelong Filth prelim is basically for the flagEnrico_Misso wrote:Who cares!

He's just an old filth thug. Why get so precious? Why are people so goddam sensitive all the time? It's kind of wet.
"The inches we need are everywhere around us. They're in every break in the game. Every minute, every second. On this team we fight for that inch. On this team we tear ourselves and everyone around us to pieces for that inch. We claw with our fingernails for that inch. Because we know when we add up all those inches that's gonna make the f***in' difference between winning and losing! Between living and dying!'

I love sentences that begin "no disrepect but..".
Bugger him, I wouldn't disregard the previous seasons minor premier who has lost two games against the top 4 across the last two seasons, but Tony Shaw isn't on his pat malone in doing so.
When we win our next two games it will only make it all the more sweet.

Life is very short and there's no time for fussing and fighting my friends.

Of course.StSteven wrote:For all the hysteria I have no doubt the winner of that match will go into the GF as favourites.
And I think it suits us nicely.
"Now the ball is loose, it gives St. Kilda a rough chance. Black. Good handpass. Voss. Schwarze now, the defender, can run and from a long way".....
