Daniel Cross - Bump
Did anyone else see the bump he made tonight, its going to be touch and go for him. Ch 10 believes he hit the shoulder first but I am not convinced.
He definitely made head high contact but the question is was it shoulder contact first?

If it had been H&A he may have gone.
Being finals I think they will give him benefit of the doubt.
Main thing against him was that the player he hit looked quite distressed fora bit...and they do bias these decisions by and large by how much distress the "hitee" feels.

Wouldn't surprise me either way.

I am not worried about the result of the MRP, I was merely asking the question of what people thought. If I was concerned about Cross playing next week I would have put boy I hope he gets rubbed out.plugger66 wrote:No case to answer. The swans player got pushed into it by his own player. Lets just beat them and not worry about the result on the MRP.

Interesting, I think it was Mumford who had his leg/knee bandaged after it was tested down in the rooms.BelfastSaint wrote:Just read on BF that SEN has reported that Daniel Giansiracusa is going to be investigated by the AFL for an alleged offence (dirty tactics) against Swans's ruckman Shane Mumford ..... wtf ..!!!

I still hold a grudge over him due to the famous Kosi hit.

If Kosi, Bakes or Buddy Franklin did it - 3-4 weeks
If it was any first year player with no rep it would be 2.
If it was David Hille it would be thrown out.
I say there will be the manipulating that Cross can accept a reprimand - given he has never been reported before so should get good behaviour discount.

Will definately be looked at (too much media coverage for it not to).
A real 50/50 IMO. Either;
(a) No case to answer; or
(b) 2 Weeks
I'm leaning towards option (a) as it can be argued that he was pushed into Bolton by another Sydney player !!

NEW scarf signature (hopefully with correct spelling) will be here as soon as it arrives !!

While I agree that we shouldnt worry about the MRP I have trouble with your consistency. Of course he has a case to answer and only a s*** stirring clown like your self would suggest other wise. Cross came off the square and made high contact that forced a player from the ground. I cant think of one logical explanation as to why he should escape penalty after what weve seen this year.plugger66 wrote:No case to answer. The swans player got pushed into it by his own player. I don't care who they put out on the park. Couldn't care less. But I find watching the MRP in (in?)action to be truly entertaining and I will continue to look on in amazement as it fumbles and bumbles its way from one stinky turd to another...Bernard Shakey wrote:He'll play. Why are you all so concerned with getting opponents rubbed out?
We'll play and beat anyone they put up against us. Why worry about the opposition?
"The inches we need are everywhere around us. They're in every break in the game. Every minute, every second. On this team we fight for that inch. On this team we tear ourselves and everyone around us to pieces for that inch. We claw with our fingernails for that inch. Because we know when we add up all those inches that's gonna make the f***in' difference between winning and losing! Between living and dying!'
