Only saving grace may be the push from another player that contributed to it.

There playing St Kilda next week, therefore no case to answer to, even if it was blatant (it isn't blatant btw)

I don't think the Johnno factor will be big enough to get them over the line, bottom line is if we plan well and play to our strengths we should win it in a more easier fashion than last year, let's face it Hawthorn didn't show much sympathy to Harvs in 2008 did they.
If we are fair dinkum and good enough we should win it.

The Harvey factor was never enough for us..Burkey 1 wrote:I don't think the Johnno factor will be big enough to get them over the line, bottom line is if we plan well and play to our strengths we should win it in a more easier fashion than last year, let's face it Hawthorn didn't show much sympathy to Harvs in 2008 did they.

Nothing in it at all. Maybe you missed the Swans player pushing him in to it and it is then an accident. But if he doesnt go lets cry blue murder.maverick wrote:Except he bumped him in the head and Bolton was dazed.plugger66 wrote:What about the fact there was absolutely nothing in it.maverick wrote:I think he's in trouble too.BelfastSaint wrote:over on he dogs board they think cross might get weeks for a hit on bolton...

well if we don't beat them, then Ross may as well find another job and Nick may well go to the Gold Coast.Davo027 wrote:For a change there's a good discussion on our chances....some very good comments from saints supporters ..makes us proud ...

Incorrect we are carrying no one. All of ours are in good form.3rd generation saint wrote:
Also interesting to note that the commentators said both teams we're carrying 4 30+ players each.
.
Plus unless Baker plays we only have 3 in Gardi 31. Hayes and Milne both 30 are in good form.
Whereas the Dogs are actually carrying two older players in Johnno and Eagleton.
The y have 4 players in total over 30.
Flying the World in comfort thanks to FF Points....
The commentator was talking about tonights game. Nothing to do with us.saintsRrising wrote:Incorrect we are carrying no one. All of ours are in good form.3rd generation saint wrote:

I could not agree more , seems like there are still doubters.StSteven wrote:Cannot understand the nervousness. Next week will be a training run before we play a tired and injured Cats side in the granny. Vengeance at last, flag is ours.
Jack Newnes happy to be a Saint !!!! PS and to hit a target !!!
Luckily they dont read the crap on her otherwise we would be bored with the amount of flags we would have won. We need to still win 2 games and we arent the sort of side that blows others out of the water. Next week will be tough otherwise we may as well not play again till the GF.FQF wrote:I hope the team doesn't go in with that mindset.Middo wrote:I could not agree more , seems like there are still doubters.StSteven wrote:Cannot understand the nervousness. No, although, in one sense, they are not the same PFs as last year, just the same teams playing each other in the "opposite" PF.saintDal wrote:Has that happened before? ....kosifantutti23 wrote:Same preliminary finals as last year.

It's not doubting to be nervous... We damn well should be nervous. We only beat them by seven points in the prelim last year and they are a bloody good side.Middo wrote:I could not agree more , seems like there are still doubters.StSteven wrote:Cannot understand the nervousness. I think we should win - but if I was interstate, I wouldn't be booking my flights to Melbourne just yet.
All I have is hope. If that makes me a doubtet, so be it.

Keep going the aggressive whinging line to help back your BS up
How am I whinging? Not one bit. Strange that you would even say I whinged unless of course whinging is thinking an opposition player will not be suspended because it was an accident.maverick wrote:Whose crying blue murder I didn't see it as a clear push.plugger66 wrote:Nothing in it at all. We have a better, fitter and highly motivated side. This week will be our "cakewalk". Cats will flog Pies. Save the nerves for the granny. We will all need them then as Cats are once again primed at the right time,,,,,,,and that makes me very nervous,OneEyedSainter77 wrote:It's not doubting to be nervous... I agree. The Johno factor won't be enough. I haven't seen last nights game but I heard he was really struggling and so was Lake.Burkey 1 wrote:I don't think the Johnno factor will be big enough to get them over the line, bottom line is if we plan well and play to our strengths we should win it in a more easier fashion than last year, let's face it Hawthorn didn't show much sympathy to Harvs in 2008 did they.

If we are serious we'll beat them quite well. It will be an epic fail if we don't win.
I'm more than happy to clap Johnson off in the manner he deserves after the game, once we have won the game and are into the GF
