This far out I convinced that the our best flag chances are that the following results occur this weekend and next...
This week the Geelong will beat Freo and the Bullies the swans...
Next week the Pies beat the Cats and we beat the bullies...
Everything in me sayse that will will beat the filth in the big one...going early I know ..lets see if this sense of destiny is for real...
The key to this is Sydney losing...see them as threat that we could still overcome but the Dogs in a prelim the best chance of ultimate sucess .
If we have to beat Sydney and /or Geelong so be it...
This is our chance boys..seize it with both hands and don't let go till the siren sounds and the flood of tears [and the odd beer] flow like a tidal wave...

When was the last time Sydney beat us? It's been a while...and they have a poor recent record at the MCG, so not worried either way really.
I am now at the point where I just wish it was the October. That way I will still be high from the victory, but if the worst happens I will have blocked the event from my mind

Round 12 2008 at the SCG. Charlie Gardiner was in our best and Milney and Dal got dropped the next week. Since then we've gone 46-13-1

First leg in..still reckon that is my prefered option.. but still need to win next week to justify that but on the balance was worried about the Roos /Kirk romantic factor..the best thing was it was a tough ,bruising encounter..happy with where it sits
