Our new facilities
Without having been there myself, word has it that our new home in Seaford is stunning.
Apparently, complete state-of-the-art facilities, right at the top of the tree. Jeez, the boys won't know what hit them!
Also, the words 'simply beautiful' were used several times to describe the Clubrooms and the place as a whole.
Exciting!!

To train and what could you wreck and what would even be the point of going there. I doubt 50 people would go there if we won.iwantmeseats wrote:plugger66 wrote:Hope not. They will be using it next season as well as the Hawks.iwantmeseats wrote:win the GF and tear down moorabbin in a few weeks?
who exactly and for what exactly? I tell you now, we win the GF and that joint will be inundated and near wrecked.

What happened last year. I doubt many if any went last year.iwantmeseats wrote:oh yeah? There are no facilities there though. I dont think they have many choices to be honest. I would say everything will be the same as last year.St Chris wrote:Just putting this out there, but first stop on my possible "Premiership Celebration Road Trip" is Moorabbin, without a doubt. The big screen should be there, the players presentation later that night, it should all be at our home.
No Etihad, no St Kilda Beach, it has to be at Moorabbin.

I would expect that like last year the after GF celebrations/commiserations will take place the next day at Etihad.
Let's hope unlike last year they have a big silver cup to show off.
Life is very short and there's no time for fussing and fighting my friends.

Not exactly the same. This year there will be a cup with the team and I for one will be a lot happier.plugger66 wrote:There are no facilities there though. After going out to training at moorabbin in last years finals, I remembered how hard it is to park and how hard it is to see anything. I loved the traditional grounds but they are now not equipped to handle events like that anymore. I had to pay some guy $10 to park my car in his yard and still had to carry 2 kids about a k. I hope they put parking in at seaford.

hence they will still use Moorabbin for closed and open sessions- where crowds may come..
saw a picture of Geelongs new rehab pool the other week- and it looks pretty special- oval shaped with centre seated area and spa etc.

None of that would happen at Moorabbin but if the ultimate occurs I would definitely make a pilgrimage to Linton St at some point of the night/morning.St Chris wrote:Just putting this out there, but first stop on my possible "Premiership Celebration Road Trip" is Moorabbin, without a doubt. I don't think I'd be the lone ranger either. I'm sure in most of our dreams of a flag heading back to Moorabbin & seeing the boys present the cup is only secondary to that siren sounding.

I had planned to go there last year if we had won.
Would be great to sing the song in the middle of Moorabbin at midnight.
Perhaps it should be a Saintsational rendezvous?
