Nothing wrong with it from our perspective maybe but the Filth would see it as a disadavantage so it won't happen!!karnaby wrote:& from a filth perspective; what's wrong with that?Superboot wrote:Agreesaint66au wrote:Our opponents are playing Sat night
Collingwoods opponents are playing Fri night
Prelims will be the same, (Coll Fri, StK Sat) stake your life on it
Otherwise our opponents would have a 6-day-break, while Collingwood's would have an 8-day break.
What day/night is our preliminary on?

flight prices were bloody crazy and no way in hell am i flying with tiger
so just in case theres a small tiny chance we play on friday night
we booked two days (fri and sat) and then drive back sunday lunch time
on a positive note
the weather couldnt be as bad as the last drive

Will be one advantage if we play the Swans then...a full 7 day break for the GF.Fidelis wrote:Careful with that flight.
SEN 2pm news reports that if it's the Swans, the match will be Sat afternoon so that they can return home and prepare for GF if winners.
Flying the World in comfort thanks to FF Points....
I missed the Superboot.Superboot wrote:Nothing wrong with it from our perspective maybe but the Filth would see it as a disadavantage so it won't happen!!karnaby wrote:& from a filth perspective; what's wrong with that?Superboot wrote:Agreesaint66au wrote:Our opponents are playing Sat night

Don't you reckon they wouldn't mind playing anyone, anywhere, anytime tho? (won't miss the rolley eyes this time tho)
It's a shame ignorance isn't painful

You are probably right Karnaby, but they hate to be outdone when it comes to getting the advantage even when it won't make a scrap of difference. It upsets their equilibrium and finely honed sense of entitlementkarnaby wrote:I missed the Superboot.Superboot wrote:Nothing wrong with it from our perspective maybe but the Filth would see it as a disadavantage so it won't happen!!karnaby wrote:& from a filth perspective; what's wrong with that?Superboot wrote:Agreesaint66au wrote:Our opponents are playing Sat night
