Sure, there's the advantage of getting the extra day rest, however, my superstition gets the better of me since our last two GF appearances came via Friday night Prelims. Okay, I'm gonna shut up...

Our game will be the Saturday because the pies finished higher so get the extra day rest before the Granny (presuming that they win).
Also because then it means that both the winning teams from Week 2 get exactly one week break - rather than 2 tema with 8 day break and 1 team with 6 day break.

there are only day prelim's if the game is being played interstate, incase the interstate team wins they get that extra 8 hours rest before the flight and so on.
Both will be at the G, so both night games.

"Another storied win in Robert Harvey's career. They say he is the embodiment of their motto of strength through loyalty, and on the day he became just the tenth man to play 350 league games the saints reward him with a seemingly impossible victory."

That's not the reason at all!Richter wrote:Our game will be the Saturday because the pies finished higher so get the extra day rest before the Granny (presuming that they win).

We play the winner of Dogs v Swans who play Sat night, Pies play winner of Cats v Freo who play Friday night. Both Semi winners get a seven day break!

When you say stake your life on it... am i safe to book a flight that gets me into melb at 6pm Saturday? (which is the only flight at a price i can afford!). I would LOVE to be there for the Prelim. Need to make a decision very quickly before flight sells out though.
Grateful if someone can confirm the likelihood of our prelim being Saturday night?

& from a filth perspective; what's wrong with that?Superboot wrote:Agreesaint66au wrote:Our opponents are playing Sat night
Collingwoods opponents are playing Fri night
Prelims will be the same, (Coll Fri, StK Sat) stake your life on it
Otherwise our opponents would have a 6-day-break, while Collingwood's would have an 8-day break.
It's a shame ignorance isn't painful
