Thought both Mac and Gards gave a fantastic effort in the ruck tonight. Gards early and then Mac particularly in the 2nd half. Deep in the 4th when Benny just threw himself at that ball at ground level... ruckmen just don't go at it like that. When this happened my Geelong supporting mate (confession, yes i watched with a cats supporter) said "who was that?!!" and was quite shocked when i replied that it was McEvoy.

i watched game with a geelong supporter and he cracked it and claimed they were robbed

Sad for him he didn't get the goals, he deserved a goal to his name.

any word on posisble injury for Gards- heard on radio some report of a dislocated Elbow....

Ben's great around the ground- very agile for such a big guy
