Schneider's fourth-quarter goal
Took enormous cojones to stand up and slot that considering what happened in last year's GF.
Put his personal ghosts of that game well and truly behind him and the confidence he will gain from that kick is immeasurable.
He'll be as confident as any player in front of goals from here on in.
Massive, massive goal for both the club and for him.

every player in that team today stood up in the last 5 minutes when it counted
we should be proud of everybody....
we wanted it more.. it took us a little while to transfer from dry footy to wet shut down footy but we got there and we won the game
good work boys and sung the song with all your heart
proud moment for everybody
we just overcame our demons of last year which was almost a repeat
and beat the geelong football club for the first time in our history in the finals
GO THE MIGHTY SAINTS!!!!

I reckon Milney needs some acknowledgement for that goal. Not only was he under immense pressure to handle the ball in the rain, he was surrounded by cats. Some how he managed to not only pick it up, but turn the cats players inside out, and THEN pin point a perfect pass to Schneider. For mine Milney won us this game. Great pressure goal by SChneids, but let's remember who made it all possible.

Yes Milne stood up tonight.
He ignited us in the 2nd qtr.
And was great in the midfield.
That pass to Schniederman was fantastic.
And he made a few crucial plays in the final minutes.
The monkey is off his back.

The rest of Australia can wander mask-free, socialise, eat out, no curfews, no zoning, no police rings of steel, no illogical inconsistent rules.
