Haha nice one sunil saint

I watched some highlights of it about 3 months ago and that was bad enough

If we get to the prelim in good shape I'll watch it. At the moment though I'm not expecting revenge unfortunatly, think we're 20% off the mark this year

much of the year I have not felt - loss, anger, sadness for myself but more for the Team

I have watched parts and whole of the game and just feel for them- and knowing they will come out firing- as long as they have the control with it

what has gotten to me this week is the SEN promo- "September to remember".......
can someone find them a new theme

I think I have to see a Grand Final win before I can subject myself to a replay of a Grand Final loss. I have a feeling I'd be able to cope with it after that. I could even watch 97.

Yeah just watched it and it still burns in the guts. Friday night is a good opportunity for The Saints to drive a nail in Cats coffin. In the 09 GF, Geelong were harder at the ball in the last 5 minutes whereas The Saints appeared more reactive waiting for someone to do something for them. They almost seemed awestruck in the last 5 minutes. I reckon that experience has got to help them and hopefully they will drive themselves to victory!

Another opportunity awaits!

You get the feeling that now that September is here the playing list has looked back at the 09GF and gone F*** IT not again!
Time for the Saints to step up and be counted!!!!!

I'm with you.

Until we get one, I can't bring myself to see these again.

Have watched 65 and 71, but that is different (I weren't born and obviously not there  )

Well done that is a big effort.

I'm not sure I'll ever be able to do it, I found myself in a pub a few times when replays were shown in the weeks following the game. Just seeing moments of the game bring back some horrible memories.

Let's give it the cats tonight then it's 2 more wins till we take what we couldn't last year.

Life is very short and there's no time for fussing and fighting my friends.

I tried and only got up to Chapman's goal.

So many little pieces of play where it could have fallen our way....

I can't bring myself to watch (don't think I will until we win one) but got through half of this last night as a way of building up the anticipation for tonight-

I have managed to repress most of the Grand Final, so watching this and seeing all the missed opportunities was really hard. Only got up to half time and then had to stop. Seeing Max in the stands was hard too.

If we win one then there's no way I'm going to be bothered looking at past defeats.

There's only so much spare time and I'll need all of it to wear out the hard-drive/DVD on the win! :D

Technically there was, but the result was cancelled after the Storm was found to have breached the salary cap.

Hey all.
Just watched last years Grand Final for the 2nd time.

I noticed Max Rooke didn't kick the last goal until over a minute after the final siren.
I think the Geelong interchange players were already on the ground celebrating.

So my question is........ When is the game over?

After Rooke kicked the goal or when the siren goes?

i watched some highlights milne could have pretty much ran straight into goal the one he tried to dribble 50 out.. so many missed opportunities.. certainly gave them that year.
