Hell I'm nervous already!
Night before and I'm nervous as all hell...AND I LOVE IT
Just get that feeling for some reason that tomorrow night will see a completely different outfit to the one we have seen all year. Don't ask me why I have no evidence to suggest why this would be.
Time for this club to stand up be counted and for the players ACTIONS on field show them why we should not be discounted this year!
CARN THE SAINTS!!!!!!

Must be something in the air. Felt the same all week. Was not even concerned during or after the Adelaide game. I just can't shake this feeling that this is it, this is our year.......

Me either. And the worst thing about playing Friday night is how do you concentrate all day at work. I have the kind of job were a very high level of concentration is required and when we have a big game on a Friday night its hard to concentrate. Being a final will be even worse. So much at stake. Working prelim final day last year was unbearable. Lukily I had the week off leading into the GFdcstkfc wrote:I won't sleep well tonight

THis is why I take much of September off. I reckon the people at work are sick to death of me and a couple of other blokes constantly talking footy anyway. I will return to work Monday the 27th of September (hopefully very happy)saintnick12 wrote:Me either. And the worst thing about playing Friday night is how do you concentrate all day at work. Very nervous, but also confident.
Today is going to be a long day off to get some ponchos and garbage bags as where out in the open dont care about that.
Nervous that Bakes stays a good boy and doesnt get sucked in.
Nervous that the umpires are consistent.
Nervous and feeling sick!
As I type this the 19 year old wakes up can't wait for tonight Mum where gonna do it ,absolutely pumped got my Bakes jumper ready to go get ready to register next Thursday for the big one.
Wish I could feel as relaxed as he is.
Very nervous but quietly confident September Saints have arrived.

They're nauseating, aren't they...they're like a wok, never heard of concept of a lid. All I've heard for the past 4 weeks is 'we're favourites', 'we deserve cash', 'Swan deserves the Brownlow'...STFU!gringo wrote:Just heard the SEN news and Dane Swan was saying how they deserve favouritism for the GF. I will happily cheer on the Dogs tomorrow just to shut that pack of dickheads up.
It's going to be a wet one, but tonights condition in the degruch household = dry, warm, confident, and not nervous.

Redemption SAINTS, it starts tonight, we must correct the score and beat Geelong. Oh the butterflies are flying around my stomach like they are on speed.
We have been waiting a long 11 months for this to come around again, its time to take back what should have been ours!

Not feeling any nerves whatsoever.
I'm sure once the game is underway I'll begin to suffer though as it stands now, I'm not overly fussed.
During the finals last year I was an absolute wreck before each of our games. This time around it will be a lot different due to me not having the same level of expectations as I did last year.
It feels eerily similar to September 2008 for me.
