Miles vs Dawson

Post: # 978166Post One Eyed Saint »

I'd take Miles...

Why?
* Quicker
* Better skills
* Better at ground level

THought Zac was really good today. Miles was good for a 2nd gamer, but if I had to choose b/w the two for next week, for mine there is no choice. I really like Miles though, and finally we're seeing some real promise in a youngster.

Rd 1 next year - let's hope Miles is there front and centre.

Isn't that like comparing Schneider to Riewoldt?

Maybe the comparison should be Dawson vs Gwilt

When the pressure was on our backs today Zac's skills weren't great

For mine, Zac might play good one-on-one but he is too one dimensional

Under pressure he needs to use the ball better.

Thought Zac was terrible, a few times went for the punch instead of taking easy mark, obviously rusty and no confidence. If Fish is fit set him for mooney has done well on him before.

Thought Zac was great today, had a couple of real s*** decisions go against him. Apart from that I thought he closed well on his player and did all he could considering one line up from him was folding and kicking back into trouble...

Zac was good - first game back for a few weeks.

Zac is a spud. We will never win a premiership with a spud at full back, unless his name is Frawley.

I am baffled by some of these posts. I get the feeling that people have made up their minds about certain players, and regardless of how they play they are determined to bag them to justify their opinion. I can barely recall Zac doing one thing wrong yesterday. He was paid a free kick against for the softest of frees to Tippett in the 1st quarter. This aside defensively he was great, and a couple of his handballs were terrific as well.

Our backs were not the problem yesterday. The problem was that as a team we failed to move the ball fluently through the lines. I think the crows played far better than their position on the ladder suggested, and some of us are having trouble coming to grips with this.

I thought Zac spoiled pretty well. Although Tippet and Walker both had a fair few grabs so I'm not so sure anymore :?
