It's a really good point made in the artical about his body holding up. Very rarely do big guys avoid injuries in their early years, but with Big Mac, Stanley and Walsh, we've got some young guys with body's that are really standing up. If only we'd had the same luxury through 2004/05 !!!

Terrific news.

With all his experience and building up of fitness levels, it would not surprise me if Tommy can make it to the senior side next year!

On Tommy.

He will be better next year:

* fitness base will be much better and more suited to the longer playing time

* another pre-season will see him built up more

* now has a solid season under his belt

* now has a much better handle on the basic skills and so it will become more natural for him meaning he wil be able to concentrate more on reading the play, positioning etc...

Fantastic news, if it's true, although I'll believe it when I see it. I remember last year when he and/or his father were saying he wasn't even considering coming out here, when he had apparently already made up his mind to do so, so I take it with a grain of salt. Really hope it's true though, as he could be great for us, at either end.
