23-13 Free kick count

Post: # 972468Post saintspremiers »

Talk about a bunch of corrupt idiots those clowns in yellow are.

Can't believe they didn't try and even up the count a bit in the last quarter.

Suck eggs you blind maggots.....we won by only half of last time, but it was still a pasting!

From what I saw the umpiring was pretty good. What are you trying to say?

They were very uneven in what they paid. Alot of times a player would be tackled high or in the back and they didn't pay it. Hard to work out why the north fans were upset by the umpires

because they are a bunch of losers with loser mentality and jealous that they don't have a player even half the calibre of Rooey in their side

The first quarter was plainly bad and just the usual bias.

however the first 10-15 minutes of the second entered into that 'embarrassing the game' sort of area, was only a matter of time before it officially became unwatchable. Think it actually spurred us on,we lifted our intensity to overcome the blatant one way traffic of umpiring.

Luckily they/AFL love Roo....he's our only saving grace in the umpring department

Really, would love to see what you see....
They were laughable

Here's some of my favs

The free against BJ on Hanson, terrible
The one handed handball by the North player in the second
The free for Nick in the third
The block missed on BJ for Edward's goal in the 2nd I think
The p1ss poor dive by Harvey, sucked in

Basically umpired out of position all night and guessed far too many, as per usual.

And Bernard - if you thought they did a good enough job tonight - you must not have been at the ground - riots threatened to ensue....

I'm glad we won, because their might have been a lynching if we didn't.

Just accept the win for what it was and forget about the umpires. Enjoy the win as I did.

That's not the point....I'm sure we all enjoyed a good win, but that will never stop me letting those pricks off.

The AFL can go get stuffed about us respecting umpires if we are so often delivered such tripe.

I loved the win - but seriously - I have just come home from the game where a Kanga supporter complained for the whole 120 minutes about the umpiring - it was all I could do to stop myself shoving my flag into his great big gaping maw....

The whole thing just went into meltdown in the second (??) right in front of us. And booing Roo as he came off was ludicrous - considering the armchair ride Hanson was getting.

I have to think that number 26 will be in the country (or FDJFL under 11's) next week.

Our captain has asked us to respect the umpires on national TV.
You obviously have no respect for Nick Riewoldt.

I'm pretty sure Roo was on about all umpires.

How can kids respect umpires if they see their parents going off at AFL games?

We won and won easy for goodness sake.

The first 10-15 minutes of the second quarter was the most disgraceful exhibition of umpiring I have witnessed for a long time.

How any football fan can defend that is laughable.

Just got home from the game and watched the taping and even looks worse a second time around.

Disgraceful

Don't blame the umpires they were only following orders.

Former North Melbourne player Andrew Demetriou is extremely keen that North Melbourne make the finals.
He hopes this will help the club become financially viable before he is forced to leave the AFL's CEO job.
The umpires knew what was expected of them and did their best.
St Kilda were just too good.

What was amazing was to booing from the North Melbounre supporters when after receiving heaps of unjustified frees, St Kilda finally got one.

North Melbourne supporters have the

I can't believe the Roos supporters were complaining about one or two to ROO. Then there was another where he got slapped in the head after taking a mark and should have got 50 but didn't. He gets a few frees but not nearly as many as he should get.

They were sooking about the umpires something terrible. Can't believe they were booing him...just jealous he doesn't play for them
They clearly had the run of the umpiring but got caught up in one soft free to Nick.

Nights like tonight remind me why I hate away games and level 3....

Some really bad umpiring decisions today.

Two of the most blatent one armed throws from Nth players and neither pinged.

There were a couple of really soft shepherding decisions on the Moorabbin wing.

Someone (Peake?) was tackled as he gathered the ball and it was called holding the ball.

North have been the AFL/VFL's love child since Aylett was president of the comp.
That's why they weren't forced North to the Gold Coast.

Demetriou was never going to allow HIS club to go the same way as Fitzroy or South Melbourne.
