Just been thinking about season 2010, win today and we'll be 2 points behind the Cats in 2nd place. They have the Blues, Dogs and Eagles to come.
Looking at the top 4 teams the Pies have played 4 won 3, we have played 4 won 3, Cats played 3 won 1 (still to play Dogs) and the Dogs have played 3 lost 3.
Geelong have been very impressive destroying lesser teams, I don't feel our game plan is as conducive to these impressive displays. I'm by no means trying to excuse our form over the past month, but bearing in mind the readjustment to both lossing and regaining Roo all of our losses have occurred within a 3 week stretch either side of the captains departure and return.
The Cats are yet to play the Dogs which is the only remaining Top 4 clash in h&a season 2010.
My question is this:
Are we better placed than Geelong in relation to form against Top 4 sides heading into September?
Thoughts?
Better placed than the Cats?
