Winderlich and Jetta are two of their faster players thankfully. And Watson playing injured?

With one change in the St Kilda side who drew to Hawthorn in Round 17, Tom Lynch looks set to make his debut for the Saints after arriving at the Club as part of the 2008 NAB AFL Draft. Selected as St Kilda’s first round pick (number 13 overall) Lynch will wear the number 29 and is set to line up in the forward line alongside the experienced Riewoldt and Milne.

Mini is a reasonable out IMO: he's been mediocre for a long time.
Lynch is presumably coming in as an experiment rather than on recent form. I hope he goes ok, but to be honest I'm not really expecting all that much.

I'd say Geary.....if it happens.......Don't mind that.Milan Faletic wrote:Don't be surprised if Mini or Geary are a last minute change in for Joey.

Get into them Tommy.
"...If there has been one recurring theme through this whole shocking mess, it has been the misguided, inflated egos and their ill-judged determination to cling to long-standing old boy friendships. The bad advice that has guided the selfish and culpable James Hird has not only punctuated this saga but symbolised it..."
Great move in my opinion.
Definitely a 'nothing to lose' approach with Mini given his form.
There's no doubting Lynch's natural talent (apparently very clean disposal), and it is sometimes the case that the upgrade to the big stage, in a far better team brings out a much improved player.
Let us hope.

Go lynchy. Great news on tom's selection. Despite the ramblings of discontented posters, I've no doubt he is our missing link - mobile, tall third target with good disposal. A lovett without the flair. Perhaps a saints version of bate. Either would suffice! Best of luck Tom
