Winderlich and Jetta are two of their faster players thankfully. And Watson playing injured?

He hasnt been going well but it does change the structure a bit. I hope Lynch can chase because we need forward pressure against the Dons.

Congrats to Tommy Lynch! Looking forward to watching his debut.

Think thats 3 debutants this year (Hayne, Stanley, Lynch)...more than we have had for years.

Don't be surprised if Mini or Geary are a last minute change in for Joey.

Why? Would they have not just said he was injured tonight.

Mini is a reasonable out IMO: he's been mediocre for a long time.

Lynch is presumably coming in as an experiment rather than on recent form. I hope he goes ok, but to be honest I'm not really expecting all that much.

Bit like Heyne, ironic both debuting against Essendon in the same season

I'd say Geary.....if it happens.......Don't mind that.

Although my 17yo daughter will be extremely pi$$ed if it does........she and the boyfriend heading across the big water for the weekend.

And she lerrrves Joey.

Not sure what she sees in him personally.

Good move. Mini has had too many chances this year and his is nowhere near it for a top 4 side.

Tom has featured in the best most weeks.

Get into them Tommy.

Great move in my opinion.

Definitely a 'nothing to lose' approach with Mini given his form.

There's no doubting Lynch's natural talent (apparently very clean disposal), and it is sometimes the case that the upgrade to the big stage, in a far better team brings out a much improved player.

Let us hope.

Good luck Lynch.

Seems to me we swapped a bloke in the seniors who was doing F*** all with a bloke in the magoos who has been doing F*** all.

Go lynchy. Great news on tom's selection. Despite the ramblings of discontented posters, I've no doubt he is our missing link - mobile, tall third target with good disposal. A lovett without the flair. Perhaps a saints version of bate. Either would suffice! Best of luck Tom
