Maybe the club dont actually know. Have Geelong announced the best player in the comp is leaving. I dont think so and you expect the Saints to worry about Armo.

The problem ofcourse is that he can't officially sign with the Gold Coast.

Also, if they used the loop hole and he signed in the off season, they can't announce it.

You are right contested ball players do not grow on trees, but players that play a handfull of games over a number of seasons do.

If Armitage leaves it will be disapointing but he is far from the saviour of our club that some people seem to think he is.

Not sure you should be instructing other people in the use of 'comers' Dools lol. Grammer is not your strong point either.

See ya Armo, nice knowin' ya! Just hope we get compensated appropriately.

you learn something new every day.
i never knew the correct spelling of 'comma'
looks weird, looks like some sort of corny advertising commonwealth bank would use to target kids to their branch.

Did we need a forward back the. I doubt it, we had 2 23 years olds that were both going well. I doubt he would have played much for us in his first 3 years. Anyway we got Jack and he will be a star.

Saintdooley.........do not "lose" sleep over this "loose"
criticism !!!!!!!

What a classic retort folks !!!!!!!!!!!
have a good look ...............

here we have a "pompous poster" who obviously has not yet graduated from the much aligned "spelling police", but who has chosen to become a self appointed member of the prestigious punctuation patrol!!!!!!!!

(seems like you beat me to the punch saintdooley and posted your reply as i was still chuckling and writing mine!)

it takes all kinds I guess, but at least he is a Sainter!

and what is that they say about people in glass houses again saint58 ??????????????????????

If you really knew your stuff old chap, you would have castigated him for the "loosing/losing" blunder for starters, and not have the audacity to misspell the word "comma"yourself!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

And I thought people who ring up on talk-back radio to hear their own voice come into the "anus painis excrutiatis" category , but you have to take the cake M8!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

p.s.........hope you enjoy my overuse of those lovely punctuation marks you seem infatuated with, but I thought they might cheer you up a bit.

Or we could re-sign him later. I'm not sure what the rush is. Plenty of time to see where he fits and sign him to a suitable deal. Either that or he leaves. I'm not exactly on the edge of my seat waiting to find out which.

Yeah nah pleasing positive

I think it's fair to say that Armo will be GC bound at the end of the year, or trade bait. Very disappointing if he does leave after all the work that's been put into him. I think if he was staying he would surely have been one of the "magnificent 14" we just re-signed. Like Marlon Brando on the waterfront, "He coulda been a contender!"

Have to agree. Looks like he's heading out the door.

Appropriately? What use is draft pick 101?
I want the same first round draft pick number 9 that was wasted on him 4 years ago.

I for one hope he stays. There is alot of upside to his game and think once his confidence is up he will blossom into a regular contributer.
