Huh?
"The inches we need are everywhere around us. They're in every break in the game. Every minute, every second. On this team we fight for that inch. On this team we tear ourselves and everyone around us to pieces for that inch. We claw with our fingernails for that inch. Because we know when we add up all those inches that's gonna make the f***in' difference between winning and losing! Between living and dying!'

It won't happen, but if it did ever happen, it would happen to us...Nothing surer.

Yes but the game result was changed the next week. The ruling was always that the umpires signal the end of the game, but that rule was changed the next week to say that the siren signals the end of the game. No vision of 5 on the bench, two may have stepped over the line.
No recompense for the Hawks.
Caught in an Anderson debacle the hawks.
Sydney cheats with 19 men and they get away with it, Anderson introduces this idiotic rule, and no it has cost a team a game.
However the Saints may have kicked four goals in the last two minutes to win the game, so nothing will change the result.
Lance or James??
There comes a point in every man's life when he has to say, "Enough is enough." For me, that time is now. I have been dealing with claims that I cheated and had an unfair advantage in <redacted>. Over the past three years, I have been subjected to a <redacted>investigation followed by <redacted> witch hunt. The toll this has taken on my family, and my work for <redacted>and on me leads me to where I am today – finished with this nonsense. (Oops just got a spontaneous errection <unredacted>)

can't be bothered chasing up the post on bf but here's the gist of it.
They won't change the result because:
let's say goal is allowed - score would have been 93-80.
With two minutes left that is enough time to score three times to win/draw.
Didak scored three goals in 59 seconds of play three weeks ago. Who's to say that won't happen again?
Basically they could not possibly make this decision again. If Hawthorn so protest they are petty and pathetic. Move on.

Too much time left on the clock. The game goes back to the centre after Rioli kicks the goal, the Saints wint three clearances in a row and win the game.mullet wrote:Yes but the game result was changed the next week. I'd like them to protest simply to see them fail epically...joffaboy wrote:Too much time left on the clock. Heard Dunstall on the radio on the way home. He was pretty level headed about it. Agreed that they will never change the result, and that the AFL will give them a nice big sorry if it's proven that their was a mistake.
Maybe we should protest about the chariety free kicks given to buddy in the 2nd and last quarters?

Re: Game Protest
I agree that mark should have been paid to Roo just before half time...we was robbed of a goal.St.Walker wrote:Looks like a protest will be launched by the hawks

But was it really wrong?AlpineStars wrote:You couldn't possibly launch a protest at an incorrect free kick. Thats all it is.

I think 50 was paid. Dempster had the smarts to bolt, and he spotted up Roo.kosifantutti23 wrote:Did Rioli kick the goal? Everyone is saying the score would be 93 - 80 but I don't think he kicked it.
If he did, it should have been an extra 50m penalty to us.
And by the way Channel Seven, thanks for not showing Roo's vital pack mark with two minutes to go in a tight game
