Don't know whether you're taking the p!ss here.........seems like you didn't want them to try too hard to keep Ball, nor would you care if they tipped out Koschitzke...plugger66 wrote:They may win the flag this year and Aker played. Lets get him with a late pick next season as it costs nothing. Even pre season. It is well worth it.Sainterman wrote:Yep, that logic worked a treat for the Bulldogs!
But an outside, inconsistent type who is about 32 with a big mouth and ego is ok......
He might go ok, who knows, I wouldn't want him though

Nice idea - it would release Goddard.
Do it Ross.
Not sure I ever said I wanted Ball to go even Kosi. But people do seem to say on here that if you arent paying to much for a recruit then why not get them. I thought I would join in.MCG-Unit wrote:Don't know whether you're taking the p!ss here.........seems like you didn't want them to try too hard to keep Ball, nor would you care if they tipped out Koschitzke...plugger66 wrote:They may win the flag this year and Aker played. Drafting Aker is not as stupid as it sounds. With GC and GWS coming in, mature aged recruits are going to be gold. Podsiadly, Barlow and now potentially Akermanis. He'd be worth a punt with our first round pick.
We've flown under the radar too much this year in the media. Aker could remedy that quick smart.

If I caught wind of the fact that Aker was a serious prospect I reckon I'd put myself up for the draft. I'd be every chance.
"The inches we need are everywhere around us. They're in every break in the game. Every minute, every second. On this team we fight for that inch. On this team we tear ourselves and everyone around us to pieces for that inch. We claw with our fingernails for that inch. Because we know when we add up all those inches that's gonna make the f***in' difference between winning and losing! Between living and dying!'

plugger when you make posts like this, think about the newbie to Saintsational who logs reads your post and then closes the thread in disgust because they think you're an idiot.plugger66 wrote:Why not. Get him for nothing. Probably win us a flag.

Do you WANT people to think you're an idiot?
I mean, if you MUST do this, at least use this guy so people know you're not being serious.
For example:

He's only 28 years old and they reckon big blokes take a bit longer....
