Looked really good again this week, I liked his game. A couple of poor disposals, but it looked like a result of not adjusting to the pace of AFL more than any flaw in his ability. So with time he will become a really good player I hope, I think it's great that he has the confidence to have a crack at goal.
I'm staggered he only had 18 disposals today, I thought he easily got into the mid 20's which is why I thought he was among our best.

No question we've found ourself a very good player.
Classy and hard at it, dare I say it reminds me of a young Paul Chapman.

The league chooses, he won't come close.saintDal wrote:Hope he gets a rising star nomination. He deserves one for his game against Geelong.

Sat next to Jack on the plane after his first game in tassie and he was a nice guy. I am rapt that he is getting a a game these days and is looking good. I offered him some of my beer haha and of course he didn't have any, but I wish him all the best! Go saints

When Harvey played his first game in 1988, I was a 12yo wearing short pants and struggling with my readin', writin' and 'rithmetic in grade eight. Now, I'm a father of three and a retired AFL player. And he's still going. Amazing! - Michael Voss
7 tackles to Steven. Only Jones had more (8), Melbourne's best was Davey with 7.Legendary wrote:Lyon mentioned him with praise in the press conference.
Thought he was fantastic. Again.
Hard at it, great pace, aggression at the man and ball, strong tackling, good goal sense.

On current form I think you'd have to stick with Steven.felixleo wrote:If Armo was up and about who would you pick?

Really got a good look at his game tonight and can now see what the fuss was about when he was at Sandy.
What I liked was he knows where to position himself, which means he stays in the game and today he did seem to stay in the game and not fade like a lot of youngsters.
What I also liked was his tackle pressure and his decision making most times was good......good qualities for a player with a handful of games under his belt.

When I read your signature I hit Youtube to find that moment... that was one hell of a match.St Chris wrote:"...the ball's loose, gives St Kilda a rough chance, Black, good handpass, Voss, Schwarze now, the defender, can run, and from a long way, roost it, and put the saints in front..."
