Looked really good again this week, I liked his game. A couple of poor disposals, but it looked like a result of not adjusting to the pace of AFL more than any flaw in his ability. So with time he will become a really good player I hope, I think it's great that he has the confidence to have a crack at goal.

I'm staggered he only had 18 disposals today, I thought he easily got into the mid 20's which is why I thought he was among our best.

very aggresive which is good in a player... made a couple mistakes but with experience they will fade... seems to be a cross between hayes and schnieder... very polished with his disposal and smart... but has got hayes mongrel about him

No question we've found ourself a very good player.

Classy and hard at it, dare I say it reminds me of a young Paul Chapman.

Hope he gets a rising star nomination. He deserves one for his game against Geelong.

The league chooses, he won't come close.

Lyon mentioned him with praise in the press conference.

Thought he was fantastic. Again.

Hard at it, great pace, aggression at the man and ball, strong tackling, good goal sense.

Sat next to Jack on the plane after his first game in tassie and he was a nice guy. I am rapt that he is getting a a game these days and is looking good. I offered him some of my beer haha and of course he didn't have any, but I wish him all the best! Go saints

7 tackles to Steven. Only Jones had more (8), Melbourne's best was Davey with 7.

There was a great effort by Steven in the last quarter where he was against 2 Melbourne players and still managed to harass the ball free and then hand ball to a Saints player -- as someone else already posted - a nice piece of mongrel in him!

On current form I think you'd have to stick with Steven.

anyone remember that NAB cup game against Geelong where he sealed the winning goal - 2008? thought back then, we could be on to something wit this lad - still plenty more maturing to go, but coming along very nicely

As others have mentioned, aggressive and hard at it with a good mix of mongrel and polish, loves a goal too...

Really got a good look at his game tonight and can now see what the fuss was about when he was at Sandy.

What I liked was he knows where to position himself, which means he stays in the game and today he did seem to stay in the game and not fade like a lot of youngsters.

What I also liked was his tackle pressure and his decision making most times was good......good qualities for a player with a handful of games under his belt.

I'd certainly have Jack ahead of Mini based on the last couple if games.

I love Jack. He is exciting. I like his competitiveness. There were a few times tonight he went right to the player instead of coralling them and it paid off with a turnover or a ball up.

When I read your signature I hit Youtube to find that moment... that was one hell of a match.

Only time will tell, but at this stage, he looks like a very good chance to be a genuine gun.

LOve his hardness and attitude but still suspect that he lacks some pace happy to be proven wrong.

Will be a great player reminds me of a previous number 3 jumper wearer.
