Why??

Richo had a completely different injury, and was much older, and doesn't have the recovery abilities Roo has. He doesn't know the state of Roo's condition, he is just guessing.

He will play when they say he is ready, simple as that, we have some of the best medical staff around and if they start second guessing themselves then something is wrong.
